Double clicking pdf's, or selecting "open with..." won't open them in Acrobat.
Fixed launch preferences with Onyx, uninstalled and reinstalled Acrobat again and still no will do.Searched too many forums to find out a solution but after three hours I've an headache.
I have CS6 installed on a Mac.
Anyone can help or encountered the same problem?Thanks in advance for any input!

What happens when you try?

drag file to acrobat icon?

when i do both of your suggestions acrobat opens but stays in the starting window.
i can then choose to open a file with it and it works.

easy fix;
Click once on the file to select it, then "Command + i"In the window that opens look down near the bottom for the "Open with:" section. Expand it and select Acrobat in the application list.
It will now open all documents "like this one" in acrobat.

thanks Gnash! much appreciated. I'll let you know of any developments.
I will sleep over this issue, try again tomorrow and if it doesn't work I'll go with pango's suggestion.

Maybe try tossing the preferences, and rebuilding permissions before downgrading. Acrobat isn't exhibiting these issues anywhere in our group.
