  easy fix;
  Click once on the file to select it, then "Command + i"

  In the window that opens look down near the bottom for the "Open with:" section. Expand it and select Acrobat in the application list.

  It will now open all documents "like this one" in acrobat.

  • this also works with any file extension that opens the in the wrong applicationGnash
