I have some questions.
1. Why exactly would Putin prefer Trump over Hillary?
Is it because he thinks Trump is more of an isolationist, which in turn allows Putin to run the gamut in the Middle East and the Balkans?
2. Who set off the chemical weapons in Syria this week?
I've always thought that Assad (as evil as he may be) is the voice of reason here, simply because he is a secular dictator. He is fighting a rebellion of Islamic groups that want what other countries gained during the Arab spring -what that is I have no idea. The problem with this argument or thinking is that Assad is backed by Russia and Iran. Iran wants to be recognized, it wants to influence other Muslim nations, it wants nuclear capabilities, and eventually they just want to destroy Israel.
BTW Rex Tillerson just accused Assad of using the chem weapons. Who exactly is getting attacked with chemical weapons as in what city in Syria? What group of civilians? Are these Assad voters? Are they neighborhoods backing the rebels? The media outlets are calling it an attack by Assad. What a Charlie Foxtrot!- 1. Trump is more economically nationalist rather than militarily isolationist. Many times in his campaign wanting to increase size of military...IRNlun6
- ... but not in favor of overthrows or regime change.IRNlun6
- I just don't buy that Putin would favor Trump over Hillary. Putin has said it, but I'm doubtful since he's former KGB and well seasoned politically.IRNlun6
- Trump is preferred because Putin basically owns trumpmoldero
- I've also read some say Trump was favored because of allege dirt that Putin had, which could be used as leverage against him.IRNlun6
- Putin likely has way more dirt on Hillary than Trump. After nearly a year of accusations, investigations, and espionage no one has found anything incriminating.IRNlun6

This attack just doesn't make any sense for Assad, and definitely not for Russia. Especially since Trumps administration just stated it would not look to overthrow Assads Regime.
It most definitely occurred, and according to witnesses it was two Su-22 fighter jets that did it. This is suicidal for Assad and unsupported by Russia. The only other country heavily involved, less imminently threatened, and capable is Iran.
- Russia saying they blew up a chem weapons factory/warehouse? Who knows for sure. But it makes more sense than a war-crime right as USA was backing off.monNom

MIT expert claims latest chemical weapons attack in Syria was staged
https://www.yahoo.com/news/mit-e…
Postol said: "I have reviewed the [White House's] document carefully, and I believe it can be shown, without doubt, that the document does not provide any evidence whatsoever that the US government has concrete knowledge that the government of Syria was the source of the chemical attack in Khan Sheikhoun, Syria at roughly 6am to 7am on 4 April, 2017.
"In fact, a main piece of evidence that is cited in the document point to an attack that was executed by individuals on the ground, not from an aircraft, on the morning of 4 April.

"Raqqa’s dirty secret"
The BBC has uncovered details of a secret deal that let hundreds of IS fighters and their families escape from Raqqa, under the gaze of the US and British-led coalition and Kurdish-led forces who control the city.
A convoy included some of IS’s most notorious members and – despite reassurances – dozens of foreign fighters. Some of those have spread out across Syria, even making it as far as Turkey.
