    This attack just doesn't make any sense for Assad, and definitely not for Russia. Especially since Trumps administration just stated it would not look to overthrow Assads Regime.

    It most definitely occurred, and according to witnesses it was two Su-22 fighter jets that did it. This is suicidal for Assad and unsupported by Russia. The only other country heavily involved, less imminently threatened, and capable is Iran.
