How much radiation does the new iPhone 6 give off?
Did Apple release that data yet, will they ever?

Basically Apple was ahead of the curve with Steve, who people complained about because he was a notorious ruthless asshole, talking down to the little people, and everyone couldnt wait until this monster was gone.
Yet as soon as this evil man is gone, the entire company cannot keep up with the competition, years behind. Hmmm...
Steve may not have been a very nice person, but the man got things done, was a forward thinker, and this company severely misses him. Its like trying to replace the lead singer in a famous band. It rarely works, and they are very average now. I still like their products, but that whole air of "im buying something thats entirely new in every way" feeling that Steve demanded is gone now. Need new leadership.
- Apple needs a new ASS KICKER!CygnusZero4

They need to keep up with this whole concept of a "justice league of designers" by hiring more famous ones.
- Doesnt seem like its a design problem, its an idea problem. They dont have many new ideas anymore.CygnusZero4
- New ideas used to be ALL they were about.CygnusZero4
- you mean the "new" ideas that you also claim they stole? like the mp3 player, tablet and touchscreen phone?monospaced
- when apple steals them, by then they are old ideas. like every feature of the iphone 6 and the smartwatch.CygnusZero4
- ok... so how were they all about new ideas if they were old ideas when they stole them?monospaced
- they took old ideas and made them FEEL new to people. they werent innovators though.CygnusZero4
- steve was a great salesman and marketing guy. he knew how to make thigs accessible and sexy.CygnusZero4
- this still seems contrary to you saying that "New ideas used to be ALL they were about"monospaced

Companies mature, you can't always re-invent the wheel. Don't forget Jobs took Apple from near bankruptcy to one of the largest/wealthiest companies out there.
Personally, I see nothing wrong with what they are doing. It'd be nice if they would think a little quicker, and I think they will have to (assume the competition is a tad better than it has been in the past...a new Android phone/watch comes out so quickly, Apple is taking years, eventually they'll need to speed that up a little).
They are making TONS of money, crushing the competition and still creating products that are more refined. It's safe and more than a little boring, but it makes sense.
Some of the hires scream a little too loudly "hey, look at me", Dr. Dre was ridiculous, imho, Newson I am guessing is there mostly because he's Ive's buddy (I don't see how his designs help, if anything egos could cause problems).

Apple never had new ideas (yes it's been said before). They took bad ideas with potential and Steve said "this is shit", I will make this good. I'll spin it as only I can. And he did. The product (Mac, iPod, iPhone etc.) was so polished and consumer friendly it seemed new because the general masses were unaware of the segment, and the more savvy had a product that solved their long-existed gripes with the segment. That was always his magic.
Problem is with the smart watch, the segment is basically non-existent, people don't even know what's wrong with the segment yet to help Apple make it right. So rather than re-inventing and stealing the segment, they are gambling with the segment.
Some might say they did that with the iPad, though I think the iPad was a much safer gamble and they knew it could replace casual laptop use.
So what does the watch segment replace? Very little but mainly niche fitness devices. Is that enough to gain traction to appeal to the general masses? Who knows. Arrogant to yet assume one way or the other.
But without a visionary at the helm, Apple won't be greater than the sum of it's parts as it was with Jobs. All the designers they can hire can't replace vision. The great designers made the vision a reality, they were the working hands to Steve's mind.
- don't forget, the iPod took off not just because of product, but because of the iTunes store integrationmonospaced
- and how Apple forced the music industry into the "now"monospaced
- Also, the entire way people listen to music was changing thanks to Napster, etc. Timing is everything!nb
- Napster, Limewire etc. wasn;t user friendly for the masses, like everything Apple, iTunes made it accessible to normal people.ETM
- Now iTunes is a bloated POS though. lolETM
- iTunes is easy to use? Please. Limewire was no more difficult (I actually used it, iTunes I will not use)formed
- Yeah, well you didn;t end up with malware using iTunes, did you? Or misnamed files. Or honeypots.ETM
- Average people don't know how to avoid that shit in P2P networks.ETM
- I was referring more to the ecosystem and the .99c tracks.monospaced
- Agree, all parts of the term "accessible" IMO.ETM
- "Yeah, well you didn;t end up with malware using iTunes, did you?"

It's ridiculous how easy the competition makes it for Apple. It's like they make a billion prototypes and then Apple swoops in, makes the production quality model and takes credit for inventing everything!
- people gives them credit. Not Apple.benfal99
- medias gives them creditbenfal99
- Sounds stupid that you're implying apple hasn't been working on this for years before the other watches existed.monospaced

I'd like to see all these smart internet commenters out there start a company and release software and hardware on par with Apple without "inventing" or "innovating" anything. For a company that supposedly does neither according to most, they seem to do be doing well.
- benfal990
When you Apple haters will have a business of more than 50,000 employees with assets of 210,000,000,000$ you can talk.
Otherwise, say watcha want, Apple don't give a shit about your comments. If you don't like Apple, get the f*ck out to Samsung and Android and be happy.
But people love to criticize, I've heard that it's good for their morale.
;-)
- i used to be a hater, but my hate towards apple has subsided since steve's passing.hotroddy

So you are saying as a customer we can't judge and evaluate purchases and choices, and instead should just be sheep? Happy with whatever the Apple overlords produce.
It sort of makes sense coming from the guy who once a week spouts how humans are doomed, everything is terrible and the human race failed.

i hate the apple fanboys that act like 13 yr girls at a bieber show. like uh this is my favorite ooooh noooo this is my favorite this is the really bestiest best in the whole world. lalalala i can't hear u it's the best you're a hater, and your sooo jelly.
apple. meh whatever. theyre good at using every logical fallacy and psych maneuver to manipulate people who would rather not have the responsibility of shopping around, or learning about specs, OS, thinking in general and turning them into consumer whores in a closed system. I'd say that lazy 13 yr old self obsessed hysterical girl mentality is there greatest success.
My only grief is I think Apple is bad for people. Nothing positive about it. Turns people into uniform consumer whores. Killed the webs creativity with killin flash. And really the deceptive advertising. I've always believed advertising should be a trade off of entertainment for your watching time. Not preachy bible guilt ridden, political ad campaign, but well executed styles. The hyperbole of it all is insane, its like watching a insane church rallying with a healer saying devil be gone and people chanting. There methods are excellent but i disagree with them, but im a free market guy so whateva. As long as competition doesnt dumb shit down to their levels too much or force U2 on me im like meh whatever the crazy kids will one day grow up. And better if the peopel agaisnt apple not to get involved. Its like if a parent tells their girl Bieber sucks and is a fuckin tool. They'll just love him that much more. ... which is probably why they use such hyperbole...fuckers
- where are all these apple fanboys in real life? i mean, it's like a paranoia. mono is the biggest on qbn and he's pretty mild.inteliboy

- ever watched a conference at E3? they are just as bad. or any sporting event?inteliboy
