Any suggestions on slightly alternative electronic/dance labels?
I haven't followed the scene since I left the UK.
My friend is signed to Big Fist, but theyre all about the house/tech style.People like the music but don't know which bag to put us in...

I was going to suggest Rwina but maybe too "alternative" for your sound. My guess is, if you can't describe your own music, how would you expect anyone else to do it?
Maybe start with your music influences and see where are they signed? These days there are more 'alternative' labels than 'mainstream' ones so is just a matter of finding the right fit.

Thanks,we like the old skool stuff like FSOL, N-Joi, Adamski etc but they were all signed to big labels after doing the white label method back in the day.

Good tunes! Very much like old FSOL and 808.
I don't think you'd get onto a "fad" dance label as your stuff isn't mainstream enough. What about an older label that is used to having more obscure stuff like OneLittleIndian. http://www.indian.co.uk/
They had The Shamen, Eskimos & Egypt, Fini Tribe, Sneaker Pimps signed back in the day and currently have the likes of Sigur Ros signed.

Good suggestion there, they have been around since forever.
Never heard of Rwina but never hurts to try.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I will be spamming them all in the next few weeks.
We have a pressed album on CD with artwork etc, I wonder if that is better than a few select tracks?

i'd second ghostly. seems like you may be a good fit for that ever-expanding label and genre masher.

More suggestions please!
I have tried a bunch of these but I think they get so swamped they never get to give us a real listen.

Thanks, will try them both.
This is the newest thing I have done, so if you think it would be suitable for a certain label then please suggest.
