so in addition to having to carry a huge ass iPhone as you run, they think that wearing a watch that does everything the phone already does, will make things better? The iPhone, worn on the arm, the watch worn on the wrist. That's like 10" of extra convenience to tell me the time and mileage, which wearing headphones can already accomplish. The 1-2oz of extra baggage isn't worth it.
- leave your phone at home. your run/cycle/walk will be 10 times better.sine
- Right. Because the only thing people use tech for is running.monospaced
- Except I hate having to take out my clunky phone and have to use it while in motion. Plus, my hands might be sweatyJaline

this product is dumb. oh good, i can remotely access my completely accessible phone, which is in my pocket, thru a clunky and less intuitive interface in my watch.. all the while draining my battery on the phone with a constant bluetooth connection.

I have one, and as a developer am eager to make custom things for it.

If apple can pull off something that hits on the garmin/suunto market whilst running a basic version of ios to mimic this pebble I think their is a valid product space.
Imagine a remote app on a watch to control media streaming from a Mac Pro / media server to an ipad to an Apple TV? Interesting to say the least...

Pebble Time is 20% thinner than the original Pebble at just 9.5mm
nice and slim then
- 1 cm is thin?monospaced
- they probably got the math wrong and wanted to make 80% thinneruan
