Wow. Seriously. Just got home from seeing it. I've never had a movie move me like that before. One of the most amazing things I've ever seen on screen. Saw the Imax 3D and I can't imagine watching this in any lesser format. So many times I felt like I had not taken a breath for like 10 minutes. Almost felt like I was gonna have a mild panic attack at a few parts, it was just so intense.

Saw it tuesday, that was one hell of a ride. Must be seen in 3D.

Anyone who waits to watch at home might as well not bother. Not to be cliche, but it's more an experience than a movie, just like all the reviews say.

Saw it in 3D and thought it was stunning.
Story is lame, however.
- Predictable, same as every other isolation movie. This one is all about the cool visuals which make it worth it.CygnusZero4

Saw it in 2D. Loved it.

I work at the place that did 95% the VFX on it, I'm hoping it will get the VFX Oscar.
- I don't have a doubt ...
here's a future Congrats.Ramanisky2 - you're over at Framestore London? They would definitely deserve it. Congratulations.twooh

- nice homage to this http://www.fernbyfil…inteliboy
- Haha, I thought that bit was obvious, drawn out and cheesy. But loved the film.josimar
- Definitely an homage to Kubrick which I thought was very well done. Good for Cuarón.sea_sea

Just seen it IMAX 3D. Unbelievable. Like others here I'm sure I stopped breathing at some points. The birth/life symbolism was a bit obvious and there's some clumsy dialogue but as pure cinema entertainment I can't remember better. Sandra Bullock looks pretty good in her undercrackers at 49 as well...
- she's 49? christcolin_s
- I thought she was older. I thought she was in her mid 30s at least when Speed came out.CygnusZero4

Just saw it last night.. I liked it a lot... but, why make the 3D glasses yellow? MAKE THEM BLACK... It was annoying to see the yellow frames while trying to enjoy the movie...
I saw it in IMAX 3D, (but not true IMAX)... I wouldn't mind seeing it at the Smithsonian IMAX.
- yellow glasses have dual purpose - 3D for the movie and shooting glasses for everyone's rifles.

Just watched! Loved it a lot, a LOT but i'd like to see it NOT in 3D. Not sure I dig 3d all the time.

just watched tonight.. it was good, looked amazing.. but the story was a bit cheesy in parts.. too many obvious lines..
also a huge plot hole was when they were hanging of the space station and clooney kept banging on about he they will both die if he doesnt let go..
by that stage their inertia had stopped, so him letting go or not would have had little to no effect.
apart from that.. it looked good..
and Sandra Bullock was pretty fit..
