I'm goin there. For 9 days in March.
I'm gonna rent a car and a surfboard. I want to do half surfing half exploring half chillin.
Where should one go?

There's a cool waterfall.. not sure how to spell it but sounds like key-pooh falls. Watch out though, Kauai has a meth problem and that place is known for cars being broken into. Happened to us, not fun.

Queen's bath, Princeville. Only accessible at low tide but its an amazing tidepool you can swim in.
If you can swing it, take a boat ride down the Napali coast.

There's a guidebook put out by some locals-The Ultimate Kauai Guidebook. There are some real gems in there. Pretty funny too. Also tells you places to avoid/too touristy.
