I should have added, there are no user accounts. You just open the app and start looking around. You can change your name / photo, but an account is "created" using your phone id when you first open the app.

Right now we're not looking to have it be "friend" based — something more craigslist-esk.

Is it possible to create group spots that are shared only via invite?

Integration with facebook events/google calendar/ical etc could be cool too.

    hey guys,

wordsss, myself, and three others have been working on an iphone app. it's just about app store ready and we're looking for feedback and/or alpha testers (through testflight).

    app demo

basically you can create a "spot" anywhere on a map and send messages/photos within it. the more messages in a "spot" the larger it will grow (it also shrinks over time). everything is done with push notifications and makes the app very "live".

    search

using the map you can find "spots" other people have created. "spots" with numbers in the middle are groups, and make it easier to navigation through the map (tap to explode).

it would be cool to get some general thoughts, and questions. looking to clear things up for people coming in with fresh eyes.

    thanks!
