An undetermined amount... as I have no need to remember them now as my phone holds every number I've ever had. I can probably recall a couple dozen easy. Mostly family, friends, and a few clients.

Is this another one of these 'my penis is so big' things, again?

No, but seriously.
I remember only two numbers. Mine and GeorgesII's mom's.

Yep, just three. I can't think of a 4th that I'm even close to.
Office line, home, and my wife's # (which I forget sometimes)

15 years ago, I could easily remember the number of all my friends,
now if I lose my smart phone, i'm lost

Half of the time I can't remember where my phone is, much less phone numbers.

mine, brother, mother, father, grandpa, 3 or 4 friends. that's it.
But I have a friend of mine who remembers them all. He doesn't even have any stored in his phone... nuts..

Marc Maron just did a bit about this on his podcast. About how technology like smart phones are actually making us dumber since we don't have to memorize anything anymore.
I can remember friends parents numbers from 20 years ago because of the repetition of dialing them over and over again yet I can't remember my wife's cell phone number.
I also think ever since my town required you ti dial the area code for local calls those extra 3 numbers made it harder for me to memorize.- Being forced to memorize numbers does not equate to intelligence.monospaced

I have my parents number tattooed on my forehead...

my mobile number, that is it. Unless you are including 9-1-1?

I read the same argument about *written language* a few years ago. As soon as we started writing things down we started forgetting a lot of other stuff.
