- Because Helvetica is such a uniquely American typeface. It's timeless, but i would argue hardly patriotic.d_rek

I'm not a fan of logos with gradients. I suppose that means I'm old.

AA is bankrupt and may merge with US Airways, says a million different sources on Google News.
They also made it on the list of Brands That Will Disappear in 2013.
- You're talking about their parent company, AMR, which filed for bankruptcy in Novembermonospaced
- And since then, they've posted profits and their stock as almost quintupled.monospaced
- But what do I know as an investor who follows them, right?monospaced

LOL at the tail of the plane, because a red, white and blue logo, stylized eagle and the name of the company just doesn't quite get the message across.

I think it's clean, but it's a little weird that part of the wing is pealing up. I dont get what the point of that is.
- I think it's the Eagle's beakmonospaced
- Yep I knew that, but the actual pealing of the wing. Just seems weird to me.CygnusZero4
- Gonna have to change this logo if one of the wings on their planes peals off. LolCygnusZero4

It seems like all these new brand redesigns are very "trendy" and will probably need to be redone in 10 years, whereas the previous versions were more timeless
