Side Scrolling Human Robot type dude, that had power ups that affected his shields or weapons.

by the way, since were mame'ing, i just got myself a raspberry pi so one of my to-do's is a 1/3 scale street fighter cabinet... actually i want to perfect the first one and build like 5 or 6... donkey kong, pac man, dragon's lair, etc.
