I have 20 images, jpeg at present, that I want to animate by multiplying each one on top of the others as layers.
Is there a simple way to do this?

there are some time-lapse plugins for lightroom that can do this

Send them to me sir, I'll do it. Just let me know what you want.

I don't think LR can multiply.
Cool, thanks Chossy!

No worries man. My email is on here. Use drop box and send me an email with what you require and the duration etc. and what file type you want at the end of it. Won't take me long :)

I just did a wee test in PS it's incredibly easy, basic though... let me know how you get on.

Use ImageReady that was included with PS 6....
make a new document
paste any art in that you would like to animate on a new layer.view the Animation pallette. (in the window menu)
-you can make additonal frames and set the duration of frames among other things in this pallette (look at the icons in the status bar of this window... see em? they do the same stuff as other adobe apps)
-create a new frameMove the object that you want to animate... press play and watch your two frame animation....
Go from there.
Have fun.

I would prefer to use the animate function in PS, if you only want to fade up the images... you can copy opacity keyframes onto other layers real quick...
Open up animation from the window dropdown
hit stop watch on the opacity bar. change opacity to 0
move to the time you want it to fade up, change opacity to 100highlight both key frames click on fly out menu top right of animation window, chose copy key frames.
move to other layer chose paste key frames.Repeat for each JPG...
This should be a pretty quick workflow...
