Font conflict (Helvetica Neue, possibly).

It's a known bug. I'm going to guess this is your helvetica screwing up. Disable your font manager and re-install the default font in OSX, should fix it for now... be mindful not to activate duplicates, etc.

I had that.
you have the same webfont installed on your computer, find out what the font is and remove it, it'll fix this.
Mine was happening with Droid Sans- it's Helvetica Neue 99% of the timemonospaced

- I understand. But in this case, as with 99% of the others, it's Helvetica Neue. He overrode the system .dfont with another version.monospaced

it's a font program conflict...Really surprised they haven't fixed this yet.

- go to system fonts, activate the Helvetica Neue there, and when it says "conflict" just ignore itmonospaced
- all inside FE Xmonospaced

I periodically see issues with web fonts when in Chrome.
