Early adopters get what they deserve.

The original YouTube app was borderline useless, aside from adding AirPlay support it hadn't changed since iOS 1. Google released their own YouTube app, and as ESKEMA has mentioned, there are others out there as well.
I wish iOS 6 was for iPad 1 as well, if only for the improved Mail and Safari's iCloud tabs.
- its only for iphone though isn't it... ? Can't find an ipad one.set

Went over to my mums last night and shed upgraded on her iPad.
Not only have they removed google maps but I had no idea they'd removed the YouTube app as well?
What the flying fuck. It's the end. It's coming.

Does it slow down the iPhone 4? I don't want another scenario like when I upgraded my iPhone 3G and it pretty much bricked the thing.

i really don't get why, whenever a new apple (i)os is launched, everyone piles in to be the first with the new toys and then moans about how buggy it is. Surely we have learnt our lesson by now - wait a couple of months for apple to sort the new os properly, then upgrade.

The whole thing feels much more sluggish on my iPhone 4. Not overly impressed.

Wifi on my iPad has turned to crap.

my 3GS was super slow and since I updated to iOS6 everything is faster... But I think I know why, it was Jailbroken... and i think the jailbreak was heavily slowing my iPhone... Everything is quicker now.. no more jailbreak for me on that 3GS!

Just use the WebApp for Google Map and voilà!
You guys know how to add a webApp to the 'desktop' in iOS right? I hope so.

apple wont allow the public to submit data!
They said it was the most beautiful maps, not the most useful- you can report stuff from the map app, hit the corner and then "report a problem"ernexbcn

I'm sure Maps will improve over time - it's the kind of thing that relies on user input and use to improve (Google Maps has had a massive massive head start in that regard). What will be interesting is if Apple allows a method for the public to submit data. Google allows for people to draw their own routes, geofences, etc. and the benefit is that that data influences the actual map - providing verification and corrections.
- This is the biggie for me. Always loved the Map-Wiki style approach, adding and improvingpig

where's boz when you need him...

Is this new Map app as good as Waze? Waze is all kinds of kick ass if you have a commute in a busy area because tons of people use it and its very up-to-date with traffic so Waze will take you around it.
- Its the users who report traffic. Best map app on there, but havent tried apples maps yet.CygnusZero4

I fear to upgrade now I don't have the latest iphone. My iphone 3GS worked fine for years, as soon as I updated (roughly a month or two after the 4S had come out) it completely went to shit and was slow and buggy as hell.
I'm staying on whatever I'm on now. My 4S works perfectly.

the MAPS app is a total fail. I hope Apple with upgrade that shit in the next months and/or Google will make an app in the AppStore for Google Map. In the meantime i will use the webApp of Google Map.
