- I dislike the new phone app. Looks less sleek.nikdaum
- White iPhone app looks Google-ish. I could get used to it though. Remember that Apple was built on the "white" product line.CanHasQBN

i can't really see the difference between photo stream and flickr.
except flickr already has an established community and content and doesn't belong to apple...

passbook seems like it would nothing easier for me whatsoever. it was a pain to figure out how it works, and i have to go through a lengthy pass creation thing that involves editing code every time i want to add something to it.
just using your wallet is sooo much easier

the new maps is great, i love the turn-by-turn thing.
i do miss the bus mode though, i actually used that quite often

Whats with all the inconsistencies? Go to Clock > Alarm, and the top bar is blue. Then go to Stopwatch, and the top part is black. World Clock is blue... and Timer is black. Who comes up with this shit?
- that's what happens when you download the update the day it comes out..Miguex
- It's a glaring inconsistency, and this is a huge company. Things like that should not go unnoticed.CanHasQBN
- There are hundreds of eyes testing and looking at this OS, and nobody ever said "hey wait a minute..."CanHasQBN
- It matches the screen it's on. Is it that hard for designers to 'miss' that? lolRaniator
- Shame on you!Raniator

yelp integration in maps is great
the siri updates are good, i like how finding nearby movies is easier
- I use maps almost entirely to figure out subway routes. Is it true they've removed public transport in the new app?monospaced
- yes, unfortunately. we'll have to use third party apps for thatscarabin
- damn. I probably won't upgrade thenmonospaced

I wasn't able to connect to my wifi network after installing ios6... I fixed it somehow but still don't know how I did :/

Public transportation directions require third party apps that integrate with the new maps app, in my case there's none yet on the app store for Barcelona.
- google maps?craigatkinson
- that app doesn't exist yet, Apple replaced Google Maps with its ownernexbcn

The App store is cumbersome to use. When you search or browse by category it doesn't show as many apps at once, and you now have to scroll left to right. There is nothing easier than up/down scrolling. Gah.
- Agree.
nbq - i like how it doesn't shut down the app and then make you restart at the top of the list again every time you purchase somethingscarabin
- something like it used to. also genius seems to be better? could just be mescarabin
- Yeah, updating an App is easier. I like not having to enter in a password every time.CanHasQBN
- Agree.

Ditto CanHasQBN - and to think that there are what, 250,000+ apps in the store? Majority are probably crap, but it's challenging to stumble upon some that are actually great is difficult when you're not searching for the right things.
- use genius in the app store, it's pretty great at finding apps you'd likescarabin

I like the update in general, some nice new features.
I would have take darker UI... I dont really like that pale blue.. For exemple, the store is now dark UI'ed, and it looks way better.

Yeah I just don't understand why they chose to go all black & white with some apps (like the Music app), and then they introduce this newer saturated blue for other apps (like Mail, Phone). It seems like there's a different shade of gray, blue, white, transparent, and black for every app.
Also don't like the thin feel of the updated Weather app either. Looks like Google or Microsoft. And why am I now forced to have Local Weather?
File all this under First World Problems, but it's still annoying. It's a glimpse of a less-cohesive Apple.
