if it gets stolen then claim on the home insurance! mine will be kept int the spare room in the house and locked up at work. there are always wankers out looking to rob bikes though, i was speaking to someone earlier in the week and he said he'd robbed a bike when he was younger, sold it for 400 quid but to be then told it was worth 2k as it was an orange...i kept quiet what i was wanting after that

I am just like you, I havent been on a bike for a few years, then bought a cheap one for $50 off of craigslist. It got me hooked again. Now I want to get a proper bike.
Im just super worried it will get stolen if I get a new one.
- get a second hand road bike, friend got a custom build for £250, components would have been > £2k newkingsteven

Road bike with chunky tires (cyclocross bike or just plain road geometry) or hybrid bike. Buying a mountain bike for commuting might not be the best choice.

is there any bike out there with just a couple gears? I dont understand they all stick to the 21 speeds bike... we're only using like 2 or 4 of them... I would like a bike with only 3 to 6 speeds. Suggestions?
- you can convert a 10 to a 5 speed easily, just remove the front derailleur/ chain ring.kingsteven
- 'terestingbenfal99
- yeah, would have to do it custom.sine

because i'll be using it in the woods and off road too... there are some good trails around that'll be getting a ride on... hardtail more than full susp.

If its a more of a city beast, have a look at the Canondale Bady Boy solo headshock.
Getting one soon...

I got this one quite recently...
It's a great bike, very quick, nice and light with good components. I've been using it to ride to work and back mostly - done about 250 miles on it so far.
Got it from here...
http://www.bike-discount.de/shop…- All good experience shopping on bike-discount.de? Checking that out...Arild
- Yeah, it takes a little while for them to send out (it's coming from Germany) but they're the cheapest on the net. Cube is a German make I think.kilroii
- German make I thinkkilroii
- They look smooth!Arild
- Quite similar -> http://www.cube.eu/e…Arild
- Or are those two the same?Arild
- the same i thinkcruddlebub
- No, It's a 29'er - It's got 29 inch wheels. There supposed to be smootherkilroii

Right, same as me then... I'd get it in 29" wheels though. Apparently the new thing, runs faster and better in the terrain once you get some speed.
