Is the word 'Grexit' really necessary?
- 2002-7
Greeks proposing slightly worse proposal which they rejected. Why bother negotiating with self and waste 2 month, destroy financial even more, spend money on referendum and give false hope to people?
- because the government is mostly academics and you know those guys and decision making..lowimpakt
- obviously not the case, some elements might be worse but they negotiated other terms more in their favour as a trade-off_niko
- How is it not the case? Point by point?2002
- The deal isn't agreed on yet but one major difference is that rejected proposal was over a much shorter timeframereanimate
- Longer austerity - that's even better, right?2002
- do you have any original opinions or do you just regurgitate what you assume is thoughtful commentary?Gnash
- "Educate your self"
Very thoughtful much like you current commentary2002 - No, similar austerity measures in exchange for bailout over longer period. Along with promise to do debt relief.reanimate
- But nothing has been decided yet so who knowsreanimate
- Do believe that current deal will help Greece?2002
- yes, educate yourself. did you find that comment confusing or thoughtless? and by thoughtless, i meant 'without thought'Gnash
- Why don't you educate me with you knowledge instead of insulting anyone who doesn't agree?2002
- Start off with if you think this is a better deal compared to rejected offer 2 months ago? What is your thought?2002
- I'm not insulting just anyone who does not agree with my own views. I only commented on posts I believed were based on ignorance.Gnash
- So you have no perspective on what I have asked?2002
- Yes I have a perspective and when I feel I can offer insight I will and do. I'm not interested in trying to prove you wrong --Gnash
- -- these internet copy&paste wars are tediousGnash
- Typical.2002
- Accused everyone of being ignorant but no formed thought or opinion of own2002
- not everyone, pretty much just you. and really only in relation to this topic.Gnash
