You would think "The World's Most Popular Open Source Video Player " wouldn't have a problem with a start-up mentioning them in a press release that focuses on the benefits of social sharing, video analytics, and previewing live video directly in a facebook wall.

i've read the 3-5 year success rate of start-ups is less than 5% (who know's if that's accurate)- i wouldn't imagine that larger companies would want to be directly tied to all those sinking ships... not that yours is- but they don't know that.
