I'm want to learn to play. What kind of guitar should I get?
- get an acoustic first. Learn chords. Then when you get better, buy a cheap StratBaskerviIle
- I mean, what kind of guitar should I buy now?monospaced
- Any brand of acoustic. Just try to find one where the strings are easier to push down on the fretboard without buzzinglocustsloth
- in terms of a cheap acoustic, go for a Yamaha, they're well made even when cheap. Or a 2nd hand oneBaskerviIle
- yeah if you get an acoustic you don't need an ampscarabin
- definitely acoustic ... probably one that has a good soundmonospaced
- I'm learning on a cheap electric (Epiphone Special) - small and easier on my fingers than acousticmonkeyshine
- Because electrics are easier on the fingers, is exactly the reason you should start on an acoustic. Start hard and get good fastBaskerviIle

- nice work!!!bulletfactory
- Wish It had been the one who did all that. An actual genius did the job. He's done work for the likes of Metallica and AC/DC.VectorMasked

Dunno if you UK peeps got this over there but this kicks ass. Most fun I have had with my guitar in forever. Good for learning some technique, though I wish there was some UI improvements in the learning mode...

- youve rather nullified the pont of a tube amp with all that processing...fresnobob
- how? All the pedals except the Eventide is true bypass analog. Which I'm sure he has through he bypass. The rest is just a tuner, power and switcher.severian
- tuner, power and switcher. It's a proper set up.severian
- whoops, didn't realize the time/factor was analog bypass. Very cool.severian
- I meant to say effects loop on that first note, bypass was on the brain.severian
- aw STFU bobkingsteven
- Hahaha...yeah, the witching unit alone makes any pedal "true bypass." I don't use any pedals for the gain tone, thats just the amp alone.JackRyan
- just the TH30 by itself.JackRyan
