I have a rip in a vinyl chair.
Anyone know of any glues or solutions that might work well?

Set it on fire. The vinyl should melt in no time, leaving a smooth surface.

Not too thick and smooth. from the 70's maybe.

Fixing a 70s vinyl chair is tough. You have a chance of cracking.
Funny enough, that EZ Vinyl will fix it but again, due to age of the vinyl, you might damage more of it. Also, adding adhesive can also damage it more.
How big is the cut or rip? What happened to it? Does it cover a seat?

Have you looked in to car upholstery repair kits?

It was punctured somehow and now the hole is growing. I want to stop it somehow. It's not a big deal, but if there were an easy way I'd be happy.

For a hole, you need to get a same color patch.
Find a similar piece of vinyl twice the size of the hole and get a vinyl safe glue.
Thats it.
