Is not free, but http://www.goodiware.com/goodrea…...
Also, in indexing you can export an ebook for iBooks -> http://www.ipadaccessoriesonline…
& of course, apples IBooks author -> http://www.apple.com/ibooks-auth…

In my experience, the video is being called from a location, not fully embedded into the presentation. When I add video to something in Keynote or PPT the video file needs to live in the same folder as the presentation to work. When embedding video to keynote on the iPad add the video to the movies library and relink.

I THINK it's because the iPad doesn't support Flash, and I THINK that that's how Adobe implements motion (animations and video) into PDFs. As of right now, you can't view fully interactive PDFs on a tablet, and for a good reason I bet, they'd rather have you create a real app or web app instead.
- PDF supports quicktime and shit too.animatedgif
- interesting...monospaced

yeah thought i'd worked round that by using a .mov and not a swf or flv file... there must be some kind of work around
- there isn'tmonospaced
- I've been dealing with this since the iPad came outmonospaced

Keynote works with videos on the iPad. maybe try that.

Export InDesign file to ePUB and open in Adobe Digital Editions (think this is free) to test and tweek.
And perhaps the page that has the video could be done in pure HTML5 - 'cause we know iPad supports this.
Just my thoughts- have never carried through. ;-)

Something totally different.
If you are using just one iPad ---What about an app? There is Minimal Folio and Pad Folio (Lite is free)
both compatible with video.- App requires publishing, approval by Apple, etc...monospaced
- it's not private, nor easy.monospaced
- no no no .... these apps are IN the appstore - already for your input :)alicetheblue
