Guys I'm trying to implement a PDF letterhead I designed to a Microsoft Word Document. The reason for this is so the client can type on actual letterhead from the word document and print it out. Any clues, thanks!

Lots of ways. How complicated is the artwork? You could just use headers and footers. You could even put the whole template art into a bg image of a table. Blow the margins out full so the table is full page, make the table borders invisible and there you go. Keeping in mind if they are printing it there, the office printers can't print to the edge of the page.

But the more proper way is to still print the letterhead professionally, then create a Word doc that has modified margins etc to line up to your template. They load the printed letterhead pages in the printer when they need it.

Try using this site: I didn't beleive it when I first read it but it was free and worth a try. Thing is, it works with everything text, havn't tried using graphics and whatnot, but it did a pretty wicked job putting everything into columns and whatnot... like 100%...
- On second thought, this was probably not at all of what you were looking for, OOPSlobstarr

you can use acrobat's forms to use existing layouts from indesign/illustrator.
just put the font somewhere in the file so it's embedded, and have them use acrobat to publish
- True.... but harder on the client and not always best for multi-page docs.ETM

hektor, a tip. don't output the images hires. just go double size. and then make them half size (smaller) in word. that way. word can handle it.
- that IS high-resmonospaced
- I think he just means not to bother with 300 or 600 dpi like for the real letterhead artwork.ETM
