- only $2555 for all 5 piecesalbums
- this is awesome, if it sounds as good as a buchla it's worth the money.kingsteven
- reminds me of those preschool headset listening stations from the 70'sprophetone
- What is the fascination with Buchla? Not trying to be negative, genuinely curious.ltjohnrambo
- they're kinda like the american EMS. moog modulars didn't really evolve from the early 70s, buchla kept innovating.kingsteven
- moogs can seem very homogenised in comparison. also, it's not just pretty coloured knobs, they're sonic UI genius.kingsteven

Good 32 key midi controllers? I want something med sized to fit on my desk and leave me space. My Axiom Pro 49 is great and all, but its too big and heavy to keep moving it when not in use.
Was thinking Axiom Air Mini...just hope its not too mini like my Akai one.

HOW MUCH? They look like they might be cheap. Then again everything in this industry is expensive.

:) Its weird, I only read the bad stuff after buying it!
Hoping the next load of updates will sort out a fair few issues - like you mentioned, the problems with it are well documented (embarrassingly enough). Its a shame as the work flow on it should be really good....if only it worked!
The Maschine looks great, if I hadn't invested in so much time watching youtube videos starting 'Word up youtube, its'sha boy *insert gangsteresque pseudonym here*...' trying to learn the thing, i'd take it back!.....so, im sitting tight. Y'all ;)

PIONEER! All my friends that used to use CDJs use this now.
theres the cheaper 2 channel version
Whatever you decide. Make sure it has booth out if you plan on playing out. Alot of controllers were made for bedroom djs.
Also with "Serato DJ" theres alot of controllers that are really cheap that work with "Serato intro". But if you want to use the real serato dj you have to pay for the software. Its a stupid flaw in their marketing. Its confusing alot of djs.
- They still use CDJs but they have this for shitty booths and mobile stufferr

I was going to spray my axiom but I didn't want to loose all of the lettering etc.
How come you didn't remove all the buttons and such? surely it would have been easier than covering them?
Also, if you're going to do it would it not have been best to change the colour completely? I'd have gone for chrome gold.
- I took it apart. and although the pad section, another was easy the knobs were not as seemed to be gluedprophetone
- so impossible to take off, easy to tape. and what I see now is all the rubber buttons are popping the paint off.prophetone
- so all good. wanted black, the markings weren't overly important. should have used diff paint tho oh well.prophetone
- I had magenta in one hand and was getting ideas, but stayed with de murda pon dem gangsta styleeprophetone
- I'll prob paint it again. like pink, tomorrow, hahahaprophetone
- haha a pink Axiom would be interesting. That sucks about the buttons being glued though, bad design.sem
- yeah i'm ocd so not being able to paint this properly was a painful exercise. wound up 'good nuff'prophetone
