Been really hard finding the 'audience' for this track. I have got a lot of kind words for it on SubmitHub but no one wants to add it to playlists cuz it just doesnt 'fit' with most normal hip hop songs... despite it... honestly... being one of the dopest raps / rap styles ive ever heard. This dude deserves so much more love than he gets.
Anyways all this to say im very fucking proud of this song.
- Sorry that im posting it again - i didnt realize i already did that above. Fuck...mantrakid
- That's awesome. If people can't fit it into a tidy category, you know you're onto something good ;)mort_
- Yeah thats honestly how ive been feeling about it too hahamantrakid
- Submithub seems to be a joke.jagara
- ❤️d_gitale
- to be fair we did get a very nice boost from our last single on submit hub cuz it got picked up by a bunch of playlists and i think started spreading outwards..mantrakid
- so like while it was only added to say like 50 playlists on submit hub, it was actually added to about 170 playlists in total at this point. which is nice!mantrakid

They've made some updates...
Hi,
Thank you very much for the support on Amigo,
We have been hard at work getting the first update ready.
For a full list of new features, see the website.https://www.potenzadsp.com/amigo…
Feel free to download the new version here and install exactly the same as before :)
With love from ilchef and Stekker.
- Updated it todayprophetone
- Ah man. Used to have a bit fun on these sequencers when I was a kid but as they were pirated versions really had no idea what i was doing.microkorg
- Did have 'Stereo Master' which i saved up my pocket money for and did get some samples into the Amiga tho.microkorg
- so sick - i kinda wish you could get a FT2.exe vst now hahamantrakid

New Single!

New single is out!!!
- mantrakid0
I dont want to let this get missed from the notes but @mikrokorg - Does the maschine you have also have the faceplate you designed? Id love to see it!!!
- !raffleimbecile
- hahah yupmantrakid
- Sadly no. Was so long ago I cant remember what the comp setup was, or who it was even ran by! Not sure if a winner got made into a faceplate...microkorg
- ..or it was just a kinda fantasy faceplate design and best designs won maschines.microkorg
- Was like 10-12 years ago wowmicrokorg
- The design was a kinda rip-off of the big wave by Hokusai. Print was like a gloss varnish on the surface rather than ink/paintmicrokorg
- Sick sounds rad. Ive been wanting to do some kinda customization on my maschine, but i keep chickening out cuz i imagine itll look trash haha.mantrakid

Anyone here using/used Maschine?
I have been using Maschine+ a bit more in standalone mode lately (ive used Maschine mk2, then mk3, then plus, connected to the computer / via software for like almost a decade now!)
I gotta say.... i feel stupid for not learning it sooner, it really does seem to be answering a lot of my needs and as i get deeper im realizing how much it can actually do in terms of being a dedicated sampler + looper + effects unit.
Ive been following the SP-404 updates and its hard to not feel the GAS for it but then i take a sec and think about Maschine+ and it does so much of it already.
This was just a stream of consciousness blog post... a little precursor to the fact that...
I JUST DROPPED A NEW SINGLE FROM THE UPCOMING ALBUM!!!!
Check the track @ https://songwhip.com/ghostcartri…
Presave the album @ https://ffm.to/ghostcartridge.EO…Thanks for the support homies
- i own 2 maschine licenses, a mikro, mk2, and a jam. The softeware is powerful and sounds great. Their sequencing workflow always threw me compared to ableton.imbecile
- that said, i don't use any of that hardware, nor do i use the 88 key controller on any of my analog gear. Lately, I just want to sell it all and own an MPC One+imbecile
- dope beat(s)imbecile
- Thx imbecile! Yeah it took me a bit to get into the zone when making stuff on maschine but i feel like i should have learned the hardware better cuz it feels...mantrakid
- totally different to focus entirely on the hardware / even go in standalone mode so im not even looking at a computer screen.mantrakid
- i've had those moments of effortless usage on the mk2 to edit samples w/ the tiny screen & bust out beats. i don't want to be dependent on my computer, though.imbecile
- Agreed on: "i feel like i should have learned the hardware better" Maybe a Maschine plus would be good but i'd rather save money on more hardware i can't use :Dimbecile
- I had a Micro many moons ago. Ended up winning a Maschine full size for designing a faceplate. Didnt really use it but did buy loads of their librariesmicrokorg
- and instruments that i'd pull into ableton live. never gelled with the maschine way of working either. Still got it sitting in a box.microkorg
- Have a Push2 too and thats only ever really been used as a keyboard not to its full editing/programming potential. I never RTFM.microkorg
- @mikrokorg - Does the maschine you have also have the faceplate you designed? Id love to see it!!!mantrakid

Etienne de Crecy made these really great little tutorial vids on YouTube. There is a whole playlist of these
- I always find it easier to play notes on a keyboard instead of sequencing.
I'll give it a try.
Thanks for the link.ApeRobot - I had the Mobius, that's the only way you can input notes, by using two buttons. Its great for 1-16 steps, once you go beyond that, very tedious.futurefood

Well i kinda fucked up and posted a new thread with this but added a ghost emoji to the title which basically caused it to appear as one of those invisible threads.... I'll repost here so someone might actually see it :P Sorry!

Wanted to announce a project very near to my heart. Been working on this album off and on for like 20 years basically. Some of it written when we were kids bascially (well 20yo), but a lot of the beats were written in the past 5 years or so, its basically our "hip hop manifesto". Hypergalactic beats + rhymes.
It drops May 7th but if you wanna pre-save or even pre-order(!) use this link:

Equal parts designated beat maker, competent sound design tool, and live performance drum machine — Visco is a VST/AU plugin that can model and manipulate any sample you supply, freeing you from the usual limitations of working with recorded audio.
MEET THE BLOB
Visco is centered around the blob — a malleable representation of your sound on a 2D grid. With tools similar to modern UI design software, including a hand, magnet, eraser tool, plus a crossfader, you can grab, pull, push, and blend your sound however you please.Without a valid license, Visco operates in demo mode. The demo version provides full functionality, albeit with periodic prompts encouraging users to upgrade.
The manual can be found here.
https://forever89.studio/docs/vi…- Synplant 2 has the same kind of sample modeling technology and it has become one of my favorite synths. Looking forward to trying this.mort_

Not put anything out in ages so here's something new. Used a sample from a video PhanLo posted.
