  my 15 month old has to go under for double inguinal hernia surgery in a couple weeks, and also probably an endoscopy. poor boy :(

  Surgery went well.

  They had repaired both hernias.

  Endoscopy came back clean.

  My son was a trooper and awesome about the whole things and was back to normal very quickly. The worst part about it all for him was waking up from anesthesia and not knowing what happened and being a bit delirious from it and crying a lot.

  Worst part for me was holding him while they administered the anesthesia... sad experience, but as a dad... gotta do what ya gotta do.

  the had a cool bike for him to ride around on while waiting for surgery

  Just 7 weeks left till I'm a father. I've been getting so nervous and excited. We're having a little boy. This weekend my wife and I are setting up his room and finding places for all the clothes and gear we've amassed in the last few months. It's already been exhausting, I can't imagine how tired we'll be after he's here. Tips appreciated!

  i am super proud of my boy, he's has a bit of trouble with pronouncing his words, the s's r's etc but he is very very good with numbers, adding ,counting, reading them, very good for his age. makes me proud how much of a clever little monkey he is.

  anyways.... slinky, i hope your boy is well after his op's
