Reminds me of those Microtek handheld scanners you used to get back in the mid-nineties. They relied on a steady hand and the results always looked like swirly whirly mushroom trips.
I suspect this might be similar.

I think the concept is great. it looks like they crammed all their technology into the pen.
it will be awesome for transferring logo concepts to your screen for further tweaking.
as far as capturing your drawing perfectly? I'm extremely curious

the word likeness kinda worries me a little. they use it a lot on the website.
