Did Rob Zombie steal that line: "More Human than a Human being" form this film. I think he did for that tune,.,..
- I think the line on zombie's track is "more human than humane"Miguex

If they do it, it should be set on one of the off-world colonies.

there should be no additional story put down on film for this particular movie...
... this film holds up stronger than most of today's bullshit effects... oh yeah... IT'S GOT A STORY TOOOOOOO....
Ridley... grow old gracefully, damnit.
We got find a way for them to stop raping Indy...

the trailer looks dated now, but this movie always felt to me like it belonged in the same 'universe' as Bladerunner...

It's interesting if you think back 15-20 years, there were about zero remakes, reboots or prequels being done in Hollywood. Everything was original. Now everything is a remake.
- check your facts, mid 90's was sequel prequel richregiste
- they're demolishing our childhood memories... :(PonyBoy
- I'm talking about remakes rather than sequelsukit

How many films have you watched recently that you really like? or even make a place in your heart and stay there... I was over analysing why most films made nowadays stink of banality and mediocrity... is it because everything seemed fresher when i was younger or is it because films are made so different currently.
CG still can't hold a candle to the aesthetics when using expertly designed film sets like in the original... I'm not being biased as I used to work in CG as a compositor.
Rutger Hauer was an inspiration to the film coming up with his own dialogue, ideas and incredible performances on screen
Vangelis composed something of in-human proportions when it came to the bladerunner soundtrack. His body of work in motion picture is borderline genius.
the new film will (i'm speculating) have none of these aspects, but will most probably be ok. I will probably watch it then do what i did with all the highlander sequels, forget about them and remember the specialness of the original.

I've played its computer game years later on a pc. They have matched the same texture and the feel of the movie there. Whoever art directed that game should get involved in the making of this new one.

Deckard Returns! Harrison Ford set for Blade Runner sequel and a helluva director is close to signing!

Denis Villeneuve is a super good director from Quebec. He won't fuck it up. Pretty sure he will do a super sick job with this.

A little perspective on the good ol' "I hope they don't ruin my childhood" or "I hope they don't ruin the original" attitude.
The original movie, will OUT-LIVE your existence on this planet just as you remembered. In fact, it will most likely OUT-LIVE the existence of the children of the children of your children and beyond, all in it's original state.
Even if they cast Vin Diesel, the chick from Legally Blonde and Kanye West to do the soundtrack, it will still be untouched, cause guess what?
It will be a different movie.

Hollywood will botch this, guaranteed!
