Need to update my coding skills. Just wondered if anyone could suggest a good book on HTML5 and/or CSS3?

I'm not limited to just books, i'll take anything on board like video tutorials and forums etc. Just fancied a book to reference at work.

- Yeah I'll definitely be looking at the Lynda tutorials. Just find some of them hit and miss.madebyparc

I've also taken a couple of their courses and was quite pleased. Video and hands-on coding.

Lynda stuff is fantastic. Best guys from Adobe and other companies have their tutorials and explanations there. Start from the beginning if you go Lynda crowd. Learn about HTML5, where it's going, what you can can't do, how you structure HTML5 documents.. this will also help you a lot.
Before you dive into CSS3/JS stuff.

Sweet. Appreciate all the advice. I can hand code HTML and CSS but still consider myself novice but I feel it's time to take it a bit more seriously

If you JUST want to learn HTML5/CSS3, you don't need a book. Pick up the Internet.

But wait, are we talking HTML5 as in the language, or HTML5 as in the collection of technologies (incl. CSS3, new APIs, etc)?
