What's broken about expose? I use this bit a lot.
I don't really care. I'm sticking to what I've got. 10.6.8.

Found it decent so far apart from the changes to mouse acceleration

in honour of jobs I installed Lion yesterday...
iCal is AWFUL. Really bad. That mustard faux leather texture... wow. It looks like some OS add-on that you'd see packard bell paste ontop of windows in the 90's.
Mail and iCal still aren't playing nice with google, all clumsy.
Any why is there yet another way to launch an app and switch between windows? Expose, Mission Control, Dock, Launch Pad... it's all a mess.
Someone posted here about Apple and scope/feature creep. Very true.
I hope they get back on track with their software... Lion, FCPx and their obsession with the iOS touch/consumer market aint looking good...
- ps - everything else is great. just a lot easier to write the negatives i guess...inteliboy

Lion is annoying me more and more. Right now, Textedit has frozen, refusing to swap between windows, save or even force quit. Safari randomly keeps deciding to freeze up and that all tabs need to be reloaded. Preview is slow as a dog.

- yea man, its got a ton of new stuffsofakingbanned
- I'd vote no.

@meffid
It's broken, if you have more than 2 or 3 windows open, in say, safari it doesn't lay them out nicely so you can see them all and navigate between them... it clusterfucks them all together.

i came pretty close to upgrading, but this changed my mind reallllly quick:
http://store.apple.com/us/review…
bizarre move to just completely drop support for all those apps, games, and office as well.

Hoping to get a new MBP in the next couple of weeks. Not sure if I will want Lion but it will probably come with it. I want to migrate everything on my current MBP to the new one.
- Lion is great IMHOzarkonite
- i just did this, its easy. actually i just grabbed the folders i neededsofakingbanned

wifi is horrible. Doesn't automatically connect about 90% or gives you error the the connection times out, or asks for the password over and over....
- doubt that's a Lion issue, but what do I know? My machines have no wifi problems running itmonospaced
- Macbook Air? there's an update that addresses some wifi issues.zarkonite
- yea got the new MBA. I already did the update seemed to help for like a day then same thing.iheartfun
- time to get the hardware check, you sure it's not your router?zarkonite

I hadn't had any issues til recently... I'm guess it's this last update, 10.7.2. Now my scrollbars are a mess. They disappear until i resize the window. Other than that, it's fine. CS5.5 just works.

I haven't upgraded yet. I really like Snow Leopard and don't use the trackpad that much to take advantage of all of the new shit.
I'll be getting a new MacPro whenever (if) that comes out. I'll probably switch to Lion then, just to have the latest from Apple.

^ Bump for solution please. And no, I don't have a fucking track pad, nor am I getting one.

- jtb260
- Exactly... Didn't I already post an example? ;-)set
- yeah - but that's Lion.jtb26
- I posted an example of lion and leopard, look up ;-)set
- yours is better though :-)set
- I'm just saying all isn't lost for mission control. You can still view all in windows in an app vs. ...jtb26
- all windows on system.jtb26
- oh... how?set
- so this screen shot is lion? How?set
- I moused over your dock to see what some of your icons were. Derp.imakethepictures
- lol.jtb26
- jtb260
- Oh actually, you can set app windows as a hot corner.jtb26
- Requires a fuck load more time to fine tune lion than it did leopard.jtb26
- Gotchya. Yea I want it as a hot corner expose style. This is ok on laptop but useless on my iMac with mouse.set
- But it did get there.jtb26
- Maybe it's time to try out the external trackpad.set
- Seems like a cunty way to force you to buy new apple products.set

If you are using a Magic Mouse you can either do the Expose double tap over the app icon in the dock
Set up an "Application Windows" hot key in Mission Control prefs
Press up while in the CMD+Tab dialog
swipe up over a pile of windows in mission control.
- I'm on the laptop at the moment but will give this a try with the magic mouse later, thanks!set
- note I said double tap not click, just need to touch the surface not press itanimatedgif
- i got hot corner now ;-)set
