I liked it very much, a good movie for a Sunday afternoon. Thanks to QBN for letting me know about the end credit bit, and i agree with ppl say about Hulk stealing the show.

I wonder if in between takes, whether the actors made fun of each other's ridiculous costumes. Especially Captain America and the purple archery guy.

My stepdad is such a comic nerd. I sent him the trailer and he responds with, "WHERE THE HELL IS WASP?? HOW CAN YOU HAVE AN AVENGERS MOVIE WITHOUT WASP!?!?!?". Sheesh dude take it easy....
- marvel cant make a pg or even pg13 movie with wasp or her crazy wife abusing husband..e-pill
- I dont even know who wasp is. I assumed it was male. But suddenly I want a wasp movie.CygnusZero4
- the physical and verbal abuse of hank pym, the cheating wife who messes with capn america.e-pill
- tell your step dad these topics are taboo for bringing those aspects of the characters to lifee-pill
- the wasp is one of the original founding members of the Avengers.e-pill
- so is hank pym aka antman or yellow jacket or giantman.e-pill
- So one of the original founders isnt it it. Makes sense.CygnusZero4

I tried to see this movie twice over the weekend, both times in 3D.
First showing 3 tickets left, we needed 2, 2 were together, we'll take them. "Sorry can't sell those, reserved for disabled or handicapable persons." I ask in return... "So you have 1 ticket left?" "Uh yeah."
So I get tickets for a later showing, we get prime seats, near where we'd like to sit, almost perfect seats in my opinion. the people around us seem cool, it gets dark, it's a pretty full theatre in a few minutes, the previews are rolling...
The house lights then come on when we become informed that there is a storm now turning dangerous with high winds and hail so they're suspending all shows in case the place needs evacuated.
Understanding we're all somewhat safe inside a solid brick building with no windows nearby, I ask the cop standing security at the refund counter if it were in the best policy of the city's safety to allow such a large company to suspend services putting all these people in their cars back on the street therefore at risk of danger from the oncoming storm and each other in traffic considering the low visibility. He kinda laughed until I didn't smile back, then seemed to begin discussing it into his shoulder mounted radio. We walked off then got annihilated by hail as I drove us home.
Yay, weekend vacation out of town.

I thought all the characters were supposed to get their own movie first... what about Hawkeye? Was he even in one of the other movies?
- ETM0
And what about Ant-Man and The Wasp. Not too viable for film but they were founding members...
Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch...?
- antman's name is mentioned in thor and ironman2. quicksilver and SW arent born yet.epill
- If we are getting technical, Hawkeye was not a founding member and became a member during the approx timeframe as QS and SW.ETM
- timeframe of QS and SW. Issue #16 they all were introduced together.ETM
- If I am not mistaken.ETM

There’s been plenty of debate whether ‘The Amazing Spider-Man‘ will be popping up for a quick cameo in the upcoming ‘Avengers’ movie, “This will be similar to how Wolverine made a quick cameo in X-Men: First Class and Sony’s going to make sure to promote their new Spider-man movie any way they can. Andrew’s (Garfield) isn’t a widely known actor so they want to get his face on everything, including The Avengers even if it’s for a couple seconds.”

Why does captain america look like he's right out of a made for tv movie?
- His design fights a translation to film every step of the way.dopepope
- I see that. The goofy mask is not helping.CygnusZero4
- the mask should be skin form fitting but its too puffy and makes it look cartoony..e_p
- it gives him a bubble head looking balloon face.. also his muscles look smaller than b4e_p
- I agree. He does look smaller. And the suit does look puffy. Green lantern got one thing right, and that was the suit. should be like that.dopepope

For all the money they threw at the film, I am surprised it was not shot in 3d, but was post converted. converted 3d == the worst
- believe it's harder & slower to shoot in 3D - plus often it's the studio not the filmmakers who want itinteliboy
- It's much harder to shoot in 3D. Lots of planning needs to be done around it. Changes every shot.CygnusZero4
