Meffid, if you been here since 2005 you will know that suggestions is a lost case. No one will listen.
These guys will not crack. they will NOT crack, and listen to any suggestions.
in 2020 this site will be the same as it is today. I will do a search to this thread in 2020. I just put a reminder on my iCal.

QBN is QBN dipshit. Good, bad, indifferent, amazing, spicy,...it's all QBN. Go to huffingtonpost or any other dipshit liberal site if you want status quo.

1. "vote to ip ban user" button. once the majority of QBN bans you, thats it, your fuckin toast.

I wish I had the time and coding knowledge to create my own forum based on all these suggestions... but alas, I would probably get myself banned for saying something as silly as 'Pentagram Sucks™'.

Community based moderation.
Vote up & vote down on PV & PC.
10 thumbs down = post is hidden (but still accessible)
25 thumbs down = post is deleted
50 thumbs down = post is deleted & user gets some sort of time based banor something like that...

There are 20 or 30 of these QBN suggestion threads already. Let me google them for you.
(I suggest something that automatically searches QBN threads to see if a new post is original or unique before allowing it to be broadcast.)

1. Anonymous mods. We all know a few people here that would make good mods, but keep it anonymous so none of the drama surfaces.
2. Public Choice rules. Limited to one post per day per user. User minimum of 6 months of contributing to Broadcast. Give anon mod ability to delete posts, and remove clutter. I never use PC now, but I would if I thought it was quality content.
3. Hot threads in Broadcast get colored.
4. It's been said before. IP ban the cock shiners.
5. Community based relevancy, rather than moderation. If people can up vote relevant replies to a topic, people would make a stronger effort to contribute something useful.
