    My memory fails me, but is there any chance from her time with the Faceless Men (or whatever the fuck they were called) that Arya is in actual fact, no longer Arya? Might she have died already?

    I coulda sworn her face was up amongst those pillars - or perhaps that was from sme promotional advert.

    • Arya is Bran, Bran is the Night King, The Night King is Tyrion, Tyrion is Cercei. At the end, they all wake up, it was all a dream.Bennn
    • ...yet there were five wet patches on the duvet.Nairn

    and Missandei wasnt THAT important, who the hell is she for Cercei? She's a total nobody, shes just the girlfriend of Greyworm and a friend of Danyris ... They capture her like it wa sa war trophy or something ...

    And the whole battle with the ships and the dragons .... I mean, what was the strategy here? It was like a bad Michael Bay action movie. And just after the ships attack, we see Danyris, Tyrion and the bald dude talkling, WHERE ARE THEY?? They seems to be in some kind of castle, are they back to Winterfel ??? Thats wouldnt make any sense? They rent a caslte on Airbnb ??? WTF?

    • Dragonstone, close to Kings Landing.tank02
    • i think they got close at one point in the past, but it had been a while.sarahfailin
    • Did you not watch the show? Missandei has been somewhat of a pretty close advisor to her going back to Easteros.mg33

    First WTF scene Bronn, arriving at Winterfell, like "HI! I'm here!" like he was hiding the whole time behind a curtain, suddenly appears in the room where Tyrian and Jaime are... wth??? How did he manage to enter Winterfel, enter the castle, enter the room where Tyrion and Jaime are ???

    • And why are they not like "we should probably have him killed" after he leaves the room after threatening them?Nairn
    • exactly! WTF!Bennn

    I think Brienne is going to end up with a Lannister bun in the oven.

    I think the mercenary army from Essos might pull a Braveheart and turn to fight for Dany on the battle field because of what she did to free the slaves.

    I think Arya will kill Jamie, take his face and disguise herself to get to Cercei, then kill her.

    I think Bran and the Night King had a connection and Bran learned something significant about why the Night King marched the humans.

    My mind rushes all night long after an episode trying to tie things together. It's way too intense for me.

    • these are ideas that make sense yes.colin_s

    Episode after episode of nobody important dying, despite some of the characters (and in previous episode, nearly all of them) being very close to.

    It's like they're playing in god mode, so un-GOT (hopefully this is all just a set-up for the finale).

    Good to see Jon is a true Stark man, a naive idealist idiot sure to walk head-first into a propeller without giving a thought to the politics around him.

    There is some slapstick quality to it, I hope they don't spoil that gag and carry it out properly.

    • This episode was telling us that Jon wasn't a true Stark, right?Ianbolton
    • The opposite: he specifically said he was after all, on his mother's side.raf

    Daenny will die in a dragon kamakazi that fails to kill Cersei. Cersei will be torn apart by her own people. Jon will be crowned king...

    ...and...

    I mean, since him and Sansa aren't actually related anyway...

    badda bing badda boom. Game of thrones.

    Well, after watching this week's here's how I think it's all going to go down:

    • Dany is going to become increasingly paranoid — no doubt helped by a bit of manipulation from Lord Varys for good measure — that Jon is going to go after the throne;

    • Finally, she can't take it anymore, goes stone Targaryen bugfuck like her brother and daddy, and tries to kill Jon to make sure he doesn't claim the throne. Jon, in self-defence, ends up killing Dany (and gets all mopey and emo about it after);

    • Meanwhile, all his forces are still committed to taking King's Landing, which they do. Bye-bye Cersei;

    • Everyone wants Jon to be king of the Seven Realms. Jon — who still couldn't give even the slightest shit nugget about being lord, king, or anything like that, and isn't having it — hands the whole thing over to Sansa, who goes on to make Winterfell the de facto capital of the realms;

    • Jon — still basically gormless since S01, and not really knowing what to do with himself — fucks off north to be with the wildlings.

    ((ROLL CREDITS))

    ((AFTER-CREDITS SCENE))
    Some years later, it's becoming increasingly clear Sansa isn't that great a queen, and behaves more or less like Cersei did. Rumours and murmurs further south suggest an uprising might be in the offing.

    ((CUT TO BLACK, STING))

    ((HBO LOGO CARD))

    • gets all mopey and emo about it after - ahahahaha LOLL mann spot on! :)))helloeatbreathedrive

    • This sounds basically right except I'd say Daenerys will attack King's Landing first. Showing how bad she now is by wiping out a bunch of innocent people alongyuekit
    • with the Lannisters. Also seems likely she will find out about Varys and have him killed.yuekit
    • Then the conflict with Jon -- just as she is about to sit on the throne, he kills her for the "greater good." Jon immediately starts crying and goes off toyuekit
    • mope in a self-imposed exile by rejoining the Nights Watch.yuekit
    • I'm not sure she'll even get as far as attacking King's Landing. It would be more of a GRRM Dick Move™ to deny her even getting that far.Continuity

    2 years to film 6 episodes and there's a starbucks cup in a scene hahaha how perfect

    she is so fucking reckless with them dragons. yes, how come she didn't see the boats one mile up in the air? I knew they were going to cut when Jon was going to tell the sisters who he really cause that's what they have been doing. Ghost? why? And then the entire mad queen foreshadowing. Tyrion is supposed to be the smartest guy but cant see this? Again Yawn

    1 dragon dead.

    Missandei's head loss.

    Wine.

    Brienne of Tarth's nude shoulders.

    All in a nice return to form in my opinion; a bit too much character reflection AND the Bronn scene was awkward.

    • not as awkward as the Jamie and brienne scene I'd say_niko
    • It would have been bolder to show brienne nude.sarahfailin
    • Yeah, I was excited about it, BUT I know she's ALSO a model so probably has a "no nudity" clause in her contract(s).

    I think that episode was my favorite of the season so far in spite of some of the gaps in logic. At least now there is unpredictability and a feeling of stakes. The final scene with the beheading was well done in terms of imagery.

    I do wonder if they really have time to pull off the character arc it looks like they are going for with Daenerys. Some interesting theories floating around about how the show ends, but can you do it in two more episodes? Why did they feel the need to limit the final season to six episodes anyway?

    • HBO seems desperate to keep GOT on the air with at least three spin offs in development, but they also rushed to wrap up the original series? Kind of strange...yuekit
    • Best Got is the slow character stuff, not the action. They could have easily dragged it out a bit - but people would have complained either way.inteliboy
    • I'm just happy to see Arya and the hound together - an iconic pairing imo. like r2d2 & c3po, or lonewolf & cub.inteliboy
    • agreed, i'd watch that spinoff_niko
    • I'm just wondering why they made this season shorter than the others considering the ridiculous number of plotlines they need to wrap up.yuekit
    • If that's all they need it makes sense but lots of things in this episode felt very abrupt.yuekit
    • I'm glad they aren't dragging it on any further, even though I'd like to see more. Quit while you're ahead, make it a classic before it's ruined.set
    • Spinoffs will be fun and can fail while allowing the original series to stand the test of time. It really is a masterpiece imo.set
