some photos taken for an actor's portfolio. Any critique would be much appreciated.

whoever she is, she's very attractive.
The photos are good IMO.
Just don't use the 2nd and 3rd.

1, 6 or 7.
The others are a bit off / unconventional. She looks depressed in #5.

I like #5

number one is probably your best bet.

the standing in the woods shot is a bit weird
- huw_cy0
Yea the wide shot in the woods was an experiment, not a total success I admit.
Because the pictures are for an acting portfolio they are supposed to show a little emotion hence the 'depressed' look in #5.
Thanks for the comments so far.

No. 1 and 7. The No. 3 photo would work, but she needs different attire.

increased the contrast on number 7. I don't really want to push it too far to avoid losing the tones on the skin.

Let me just preface this by saying I know nothing about photography and am myself an awful, awful photographer, but I wholly agree with Raf where the B&W shots are concerned.
I see now you've added in a couple of colour shots, the first of which feels quite strong to me.

I actually think the B&W ones are more successful. Something about the colour ones look a little washed out to me (lighting is a little flat too) and the chain like fence is a strange choice for a background. Overall I think the photos are nice but the model looks pretty uncomfortable in most of them. Are these her first headshots?
- I agree, the background choice in the colour shots was bad. And yea these are her first (and my first) headshots.huw_cy
