Let's rock this joint. I'm in.
First timer here, so I have a question: are prints generally around 8x10 or...what's the story? I'm assuming once the final head count is in, people decide on their own what dimension makes sense?

I'm in!

heyo! Sorry, just now getting to check in on this thread. At any rate, I have gotten about 10 people so far that have emailed me saying they want in...so that's rad. If you haven't sent me an email yet and want in, do so now. I want to compile an email to everyone that is going to participate with just some general info about the trade, and then go from there as far as splitting into trade groups.
Basically, the format is open (as far as size, what the photo is printed on, etc) it just needs to be a photograph.
As I said before, I'm crazy busy at work at the mo' so bare with me. I will try and get an email out to all participants soon.
Do we want to set a deadline date as far as the time when people can no longer join this trade? Please let me know your thoughts.
This will be rad. The last ones were to be sure.
- just checked email, and there are actually 13 people who want in as of now. I think if we had 16 to 20 that would be perfect...spellcheck
- ...perfect. unlike the jump between devices. so 16-20 max? thoughts on that?lvl_13

i'm bookmarking this thread.

Let's cut it at 20 tops. Get's a bit expensive sending out > 20 pics to possibly international addresses.
- jaylarson0
16–20 is good. easy numbers to match.
- OSFA0
this is gonna be such a great exchange... I know it! An orgy of talent!
- lvl_130
Hey epic, that is why we will divide into groups of 4 or 5. That way each person only has to send out 3-4 prints (one to each member of his or her group). Although you don't get everyones photos in the whole exchange, it keeps costs down and overall more manageable for everyone.
- got itepic_rim
- But so much better fi everyone get something from the others. No? I don't mind paying the postage if you guys don'tvnamy
- nah, this simplifies the process. are you really going to hang 20 photos? no. 4 or 5? yes.lvl_13
- I do since I rotate my artwork. But I'm also an avid art collector...vnamy

Email sent to lvl_13. Walls prepped for art. This will be brilliant.
- lvl_130
18 total as of right now. 2 spots left if we are sticking with the max 20 rule (which I think is a good idea).
- OSFA0
Where the fuck is dibec when you want him? six, u in?
- vnamy0
In!
- sp_clarke0
Well I'm in too! I'll send off an email now
- lvl_130
That's it boys and girls. We got our 20 participants. I will try and get an email sent out this weekend with details (as stated before). Hopefully!
Radical!
- lvl_130
And digdre( and maybe others) that said they wanted in but didn't send me an email...well, what can I say? If you still want in send me an email by Saturday. Otherwise I guess you are SOL.
- lvl_130
Okay, I just set up a page with participants. before we had everyone pick a number and they were placed into a group. to make this process a little faster, I just put the groups together in the order in which I received your email.
We actually ended up with 22 people. i had forgotten to include myself in the original 20 we had all agreed upon (DOH!).
At any rate, here is how it stands:
http://www.nojobwilltravel.com/n…2 groups have 5 members while the rest have 4. does anyone have a problem with how these groups are? if not, now we just need to exchange shipping address info via email and set a date in which needs photos need to be sent by.
So what do you guys want to set the deadline at March 31? or do we need to extend that even further?
- jaylarson0
i'm comfortable with the march 31st
