You can switch your Godaddy domains to anonymous registration by proxy through their own site. Doesn't matter how long you've had the domain. It's a couple bucks extra per year but then the info wouldn't need to be publicly viewable.
Overall, Godaddy hate aside, I doubt any registrar would treat this particular set of circumstances differently. They are cunts though.
