so did the girl in the beginning of the episode, the one that Coral likes, leave pictures of the place and its surrounding fence out in the wild for these savages to find & figure out out a way in??

    • & how did she/they develop or print those pics out?moldero
    • i think that's what they are implying. Remember, Carl saw her slipping over the fence at night last season. And she was talking about blind spots to Carllocustsloth
    • how and where they develop those pics? they always seems to have everything they need in this post-apocalyptic World!Ben99
    • Last season he said their means for developing the photos were poor. That's why they look like shit.ETM
    • Why is it so hard to believe they could posses developing solution?ETM
    • They have a darkroom somewhere.pango
    • The bag with the pics was lost by Aaron -- that's why he was so distraught when he saw it. he felt responsibleGnash
    • Ganish got it, that was the backpack that Aaron used to convince people that Alexandria was legit, so hope potentially led them there...BuddhaHat
    • Why is it so hard to believe they have digital cameras and printers?CyBrainX

^^ I thought those pics were from the guys that go on the wild to recruit new people, like the guy who found the bag brought Rick's group. He had a boyfriend, and I assumed it was his backpack, meaning the boyfriend is dead. I don't see any relation with the JSS girl. Am I missing other things or do I make sense?

    Great episode!

    • From wiki: Aaron finds a member of the Wolves with his personal bag that he left behind at the Del Arno Factory. The bag containedlocustsloth
    • photos and information on Alexandria, and Aaron begins to sob as he realizes that it was his fault that the Wolves were led to Alexandrialocustsloth

From teh wiki on Ep15 of last season:
Enid just remarks that they belong outside the walls. Enid says that the world belongs to walkers now, and the survivors are just living in their world.

Sounds a lot like what the guy Morgan tied up was saying

Which would make sense if that is the wolves philosophy. If they are trying to be more like the walkers, that would explain the brutality they display (hacking up people after they are dead)

    • but they go for the head, if it was their philosophy, it would make better sense to let them turn, no?ESKEMA
    • seems like they're essentially a cult of some kind.Gnash
    • they were grabbing stuff but it looked like disruption was their main goalGnash

taking the dead out of that big ass hole was a horrible idea, that hole is what kept their place near zombie free, it was like a perfect trap, they could have built a wall on the other side of those trucks for when the trucks gave way. if ricks plan worked, just to lead them away, how far were they going to lead them? building all those walls n shit on the way, then what? then there's a bunch of dead on the loose again, atleast if you kept them in the hole, you could go and shoot or torch a bunch of them every once and a while.

    • It was definitely a bad idea, but if that truck was always going to fall off the dirt road leading down into the pit, the walkers were always going to get looseBuddhaHat
    • Couldn't they just have blown the whole crumbling ramp somehow? Permanent solve.ETM
    • that idea is something that yurimon would concoct.utopian
    • ^ agreed ETM, it's a pit, just blow the ramp. mind you, it collapsed before they could do anything anyway.Gnash
    • Why not siphon all the gasoline they could find. Some soap flakes - and napalm the pit. Every month. Would stink but work after they barricaded the quarry exitsBH26

Did anyone else think Corl would take the casserole out of the oven and see the baby was missing from the monitor screen?

    • no... I just thought the casserole shot was to show how fast it all happened.Al_dizzle
    • I did, only because they made a point of Carol looking at the monitor earlier.Gnash
    • I thought he was going to pull the baby out of the oven.sea_sea

    • I thought he was going to pull the baby out of the oven, then notice the casserole missing in the baby monitor.ETM

What was the red "A" on the porch railing about? I know the neighbourhood is Alexandria, but who does that, and if you were that proud wouldn't it be somewhere more obvious than under the bannister?

    • Not sure he's actually dead. I think that was the other guy on top of him. The intestines were in the wrong place...ETM

So many ridiculously aggravating moments by idiotic characters that I find myself either wanting to punch my tv or laughing hysterically and clapping gleefully when someone gets eaten or put-down that I don't have to put up with 'that guy' (or girl) next week.

I just read somewhere that they've got this show outlined to go 12 seasons... the creator also wrote the story open-ended so that as long as Rick's alive the story may continue...

12 seasons? I find this difficult to deal with... not sure I'll be able to handle it...

    • The captain only got 7 seasons for his show.CyBrainX
  • Frosty_spl0

Will they kill Rick off and have the guy with the stick be the group leader?

    • Wouldn't Rick be infected? He got sliced by a machete that had gone right through a walker, likely resulting in an infection as bad as a bite would. Yes, no?ETM
    • they all have the infection, but they need to die first to become zombiesdrgs
    • he may need to chop his hand off to stop the spread of infection.Gnash
    • Rick only has one hand in the comicsdesmo
    • spoiler alert.

    • @drgs Yes, we all know everyone has 'The Infection'. Its the filthy blade leading to a festering infection and septic shock I'm referring to.ETM
    • Shouldnt he have cut it off right away?CGN
    • not unless infection sets in.Gnash

Some speculation from an article from a couple months ago quotes Kirkman (the creator) regarding killing Rick off:

"...Rick would stick around for a long time, but he thought Carl could carry the book."

    http://www.cleveland.com/enterta…

What??! Carl? Dude's like 16 and still wears his daddy's hat... carry the book? He can barely carry that stupid haircut on his head... :/ Where's this thing going? Is it just a survival show that never leads to any answers?

  • youngdesigner1

How hard is it to just build a heavily fortified area and stay there? And not go out on stupid missions all the time?

Just like there is no way humans can occupy every part of the country, it should be pretty easy to find a remote area in the woods with no zombies.

I was reading a theory on another site that everyone on the show is mildly brain damaged because of all the traumatic experiences and that's why they keep making so many dumb decisions.

    • it's a tv showBen99
    • The set designers can build it for themdesmo
    • I bet any of us could do a better job surviving in that world than the people on the showyoungdesigner
    • i wouldn't be worried as much about the zombies as I would of other people.Gnash

    • its kinda how most of society operates though. the degrees vary though.yurimon
    • Like I've always said... I'd be at an island off the Atlantic Coast living like a beach bum. Walkers don't swim.aslip
    • But they can walk along the ocean bottom. Not like they're gonna drown.ETM
    • Or a boat full wrecks on the beach.ETM
    • need to go north. walkers likely have no thermoregulation so they'll freeze. most of canada will be a zombie free zoneGnash

this is a good season yet, and the last episode was the best one in ages.

good, cuz this is the last chance i'm giving them. if it end up to be as boring as the last 2 seasons, i'm out.

  • Al_dizzle0

Threw chips at my tv in disgust after that last ep

  • i_monk0

It was the guy on top of him getting disembowelled. You don't have intestines in your chest.

That said, I'll be disappointed when it's confirmed to be a fake-out for the sake of drama. No show with a character like Carol needs to stoop so low.

    • Rest assured. He's dead. It was Glenn's intestines.CyBrainX
    • Chinese do have intestines in their chestmoldero
  • dopepope0

I agree. If he's not dead, it's bullshit.

    • You can't kill an unicorn!!pango
    • Asian guy lasting that long on a survival tv show. He's practically a unicorn!pango
    • LOL@pangoBen99
    • It would be fantastic if he did survive through some miracle, and whilst the fans cheer and high-five, he gets killed for real 2 minutes later.ETM
    • if that happens i would accept it. cuz the humor is gold on that one. LOLpango

As they both fell you could see that their heads were oriented away from the bin -- clearly landing with their feet closest to it. Then in the camera pan up and away his head is now closest to the bin. This magical proximity to the bin hints to his escape route. just lay still under there until the horde moves on.

    • The fence behind the bin also disappears in the overhead shot, which is either a mistake or the bin was pushed over him.i_monk
    • ...interesting, I hadn't thought of that. The walkers behind the bin push it over him.Gnash
    • no... check again.Ben99
    • That show is filled with errors on the set.Ben99
    • Exemple: the blood splat coming from the right on Glenn's face. The guy is in front of him, it make zero sense.Ben99
    • Sometimes i wonder if they really think about their shit when they shoot the scenes.Ben99
    • or when zombies are totally silent and furtive and BAM! right behind someone. No one heard it, and the zombie were shutting is grumping mouth off.. yeahBen99
    • The exit wound was on the left of the guy's face, so it would have sprayed out and hit the right side of Glenn's if they were facing.i_monk
    • @i_monk - but they were facing each other. that splatter didn't make sense. it was only on the right side of glen's face.Gnash
    • It would only be on the right side of his face if the two were facing.i_monk
    • check the scene again, it make ZERO senseBen99
    • ya, the blood would have to make a U-turn to land on glen's face like that.Gnash
  • _niko2

still not sure what their plan was, they are trying to march the zombies away from the proximity of Alexandria, but to where? Sounded like they were going to release them like an unwanted puppy a few miles away and hope they didn't return?

Why not leave them in the pit and light the fuckers on fire? as we saw in the last episode they are drawn to flame, so throw a bunch of molotov cocktails at that massive hoard and voila! Walking Dead Burning Man festival.

    end of Zombie problem.

    • oops just saw you guys were saying the same sort of thing a few posts up, but yeah._niko
    • RICK, _nico... ...Rick said it would work... that there was NO OTHER WAY, _nico... ...NO OTHER WAY.PonyBoy
    • They could have welded razor wire between the trucks and let them dice themselves.i_monk
    • Or wall off the top of the ramp with stone or something that they could have moved with all that heavy equipment they have.ETM
    • Or blew up the ramp since it was already unstable.ETM
    • Plus, you know, not unknowingly leave a horde of walkers on a potential path to another innocent settlement/group.ETM
