plus was that a tornado that ripped through there and saved them, uprooted all those massive trees but that rickety old barn was somehow spared?
- Lol yupmoldero
- I thought it was a dream sequence at one point. that whole scene was shot in an odd way.Gnash
- <thought it was a dream as wellRamanisky2
- Thats the point.ArmandoEstrada
- the whole point was to imply that "faith" saved them, to rebuild their faith that they had lost in godmonospaced
- leave it up to the individual to decide if it was coincidence, or if it was the hand of a greater powermonospaced
- at the same time the preacher loses his entirely. odd juxtaposition. WIN !$3 word day!zenmasterfoo

Do you guys think that the show might be better if they did a new group or storyline every season like True Detective ??

So, we have a little girl, never drank alcohol in her life, drinks a jar of Moonshine and makes no reactionary face after any gulp, doesn't act drunk in any way after... I didn't buy it at all. Moonshine is no joke. She'd have been an a puddle of her own vomit after an hour of that.
- And Daryl got drunk faster than she did.i_monk
- haha so trueRamanisky2
- and the flame would have burned blue but who's counting._niko
- she didn't even cough or make a face, that bitch is hardmoldero
- I have never seen anyone take down that much moonshine and not be slobbering blackout drunkmonospaced
- So that particular hill folk made shitty moonshine, I guess.ETM
- monospaced0
I kept thinking they were gonna hook up after getting smashed on moonshine, playing "I've never" all alone in that cabin.
- I had the same creepy fear. That girl is about what, 14?CyBrainX
- yeah, but she was kinda forward, no? getting him drunk, getting personal, saying she wants to do something stupid?monospaced
- er... something "she regrets" while drunk. I'm surprised he didn't do something, actually.monospaced
- I agree, in real life they would have hooked up. Just human nature in such a stressful situationukit2
- The actress is 28, but the character is 16 or 17, whichever is legal in Georgia (AV Club readers did the research).i_monk
- IMDB says she graduated university in 2006. She must be at least 29. 6 months ago she seemed 14!?HAYZ1LLLA

The Erin thing ("Erin we tried for Cold Mtn – J" / E-R-I-N bracelet) was a nice touch.
- I agreeKnuckleberry
- Yep.mikotondria3
- don't get itdigdre
- The entire episode had a subtext reminding viewers that there are survivors scattered every where.ETM
- Layered with Morgan's idea that the bold and brave die while the weak and cowardly survive.ETM
- To be finished with his general question as to "why anyone bothers, anyway"?ETM
- The first was written on a sign by the road, the latter was on the arm of a walker farther up the road.i_monk
- My wife caught this and mentioned it- love the detail.bulletfactory

On a different note, is T-Dog at any point going to be more than a glorified extra? Does he have a a story arc in the comic?
- I find it hilarious the 1 black guy is called t-dog. Why isnt he called Harry? RACIST!!!!CygnusZero4
- t-dog wasn't in the comic. in the comic it was tyreese... and he was a complete badass.kona
- HAAHAAA TYRESE!CygnusZero4
- it does seem racistmonospaced
- Tyreese was the shit in the comic.elahon
- NOOO dont say T-dog is Tyrese?! Think so? There was another black guy but he died early on. They can seriously make T-dog = Tyrese.....Ironmonkey
- I never heard them calling him T-Dog until the last couple of episodes.CyBrainX
- sigg0
the best part about the comic is that it was very clear... you shouldn't fear the zombies, you should fear the people standing next to you. it's everyone else you need to worry about. zombies are just nuisances.
- interesting, I never read the comic, but I just might after reading this commentmonospaced
- yup I would say that is really the core of this story.sofakingbanned
- yea but that does not come across in the show, and that is a major element of why I liked it.Ironmonkey
- YEP. someone who get the the comic!
necromation - < all trueJaline
- oh fuck yeh sigg.. the comic rocks!! and its not just the zombies.. they are innocentsepill
- its like in true blood its not just vampires it has all sorts of crazies n tv folk better be readyepill

What fantastic advertising.registe - Brilliant. My heart stopped the first time I saw one of those ‘comical’ car boot (trunk) arms when I was a kid.detritus
- hahah @registe .. you are 100% right.. awful grammarBoz
- awesome
Ironmonkey - I found one of those arms on the beach when I was a kid. Freaked me out for weeks.elahon

How did they explain Morgan being able to cross over to a show that takes place before the show he's currently on?
I did stop watching FTWD after s2. I didn't like it very much. But I do recall it being a prequel of sorts. Did FTWD speed up it's time line to match or surpass TWD?
- not sure they need to, considering Morgan existed in both and they are really one big timeline and shared worldmonospaced
- So, he's there in the past? or it's the Morgan from after the S7 finale ? That's what I'm confused about.dopepope
- same outbreak, same timeline.Gnash
- so, Morgan was in Atlanta, then got to LA, then got back to Virginia to deal with Negan? Or...dopepope
- He's leaves after Neegan and meets up with those ppl in LA...dopepope
- Which means the timeline of FTWD had to have gone by faster than TWD hasdopepope
- FTWD and TWD were always meant to be happening concurrently. time elapses differently in each show but same worldGnash
- The morgan in FTWD is the one that just left Neegans' defeat in TWDGnash
- ah ok.dopepope
- Yeah he left right after the final battle and then ran, walked and drove to the west coastRamanisky2
- I thought lots more time passed in the original series than FTWD.monospaced
- Hold on. When Fear the Walking Dead started it was at the point of zombie outbreak. Then time passed more quickly than in The Walking Dead...CyBrainX
- When they were at the same time frame last year, Morgan decided to drive across the country. (God only knows why).CyBrainX
- CyBrainX0
I thought this was the best episode in a long time. That walker grinder was just some brilliant stuff.

hahhhahaha seven seasons and they kill major characters with off-screen bites? incredible that this show hasn't lost all its fans. i tuned in for the last 10 minutes and my god what trash
- How do you know it was an off-screen bite if you only tuned in for 10 minutes?ETM
- cause the last scene was him revealing he was bitcolin_s
- True. We didn't even know until that last scene.CyBrainX
- actually, the scene he gets bit was a few eps back. They didn't show it, but it happens during that zombie fight.dopepope
- ^ yup, when he's with the new guyGnash

I just hope that we don't have to sit through an entire season++ of Rick and his people being broken ...
dammit, its time to fuck shit up.
come on Coral lets do this.
- They are gonna milk this for a while.DRIFTMONKEY
- ughhhRamanisky2
- Based on comics I can guess the season finale...ETM
- You can't base anything on the comics.CyBrainX
- You kinda can. For as much follows it, as deviates from it.ETM
- And given that they introduced Hilltop and the Kingdom, it's following fairly well.ETM

In Ancient Greek mythology, the pomegranate was known as the "fruit of the dead", and believed to have sprung from the blood of Adonis.
Hades trapped Persephone in the underworld by making her consume a pomegranate.
