i bet if they got their wish and the brits stopped coming they'd just be whining about not having enough tourism

Yep working class brits abroad are horrible, but we're getting a taste of our own medicine with all the french cunts in london at the minute

Aye, likewise - when I lived abroad as a kid I was - I hate to admit it - ashamed of my fellow Brits, but then I was young and stupid and lumped them all together.
I did everything I could to ingratiate myself with the locals, distancing myself from my fellow countrymen. As I grew up, I realised this was too polar a perspective. When I moved back to Britain to go to uni, I realised how totally wrong I was.
I was 18 at the time. I'll forgive myself for being so stupidly and credulously single-minded in my ill-thought conviction.
I'll be generous and assume some of the posters in here are equally as young as that, and have not the time on this earth or the breadth of its experience to formulate a realistic opinion beyond those remorseless, single-sided caricatures spouted by gleeful journos.
btw - khurram - I'm kind of curious to know why you think my mentioning shekels is anti-semitic.
You said to me once, here, that people tend to see and respond to in others that which they most ignore and dislike in themselves (or, words to that effect). Given that the term 'shekel' is an oft-used catchall for all money from beyond time, I wonder why it is so ardently racist, as you imply? Curious, anyway. Especially as shekel isn't even specifically Jewish - it comes from way before that.

When me and my gf book a holiday to somewhere in europe, we always look for very non clubbing places. Mainly go for places where couples go or families. Much nicer atmosphere to me.

@Khurram (seeing my mate Khurram this evening lol)
I do think these brit tourist party animals are no different from american college / university (whatever the equivalent is) party animals. Like those jersey shore tools or spring break parties. Obviously the NY times wouldnt make mention of that.
Every culture has their share of complete idiots. America is most definitely no different.
And contrary to what you said most of these british party animals aren't pikeys. pikeys couldn't afford to go on holiday. They are just clubbers. They haven't been to prison. Being a young brit i know the type of party crowd, they arent ex-cons or something. Maybe you're just intimidated by brits. Like some people are intimidated by other cultures.
That said, these british party tourists do make me ashamed to be british. Look like a complete bunch of inbreds.

1,591 died in Spain between 2006-2007? is that number right?
Bulls run and drinking do not mix!

Amerikuns - is it like this in Cancun??? On spring break??? Where goes go wild and there are no parents?
Cos i think Cancun and Florida on Spring Break is just rowdy college kids. Whereas stag parties in Prague are proper pikeys.
- Khurram0
i was in Berlin once and there were stag parties going on there, and i didn't like it. Proper intimidating atmosphere. Even though i'm well hard.
I never see that with other Europeans in't London. Even the Aussie's in the Walkabouts, it turns out, are fucking pussies.

"more than a dozen British women were charged in July with prostitution after taking part, the authorities said, in an alfresco oral sex contest."
