The C and S kind of get lost. Have you tried keeping the letters black and scaling the rest of the cow down to gray?

Definitely doesn't feel complete yet but I really like it so far. Look forward to seeing it finished!

Didn't read the post so I didn't know it was a butcher. I initially thought it looked like an old printing press.

I would also like to see you destroy the symmetry somehow. Throw it off a bit by moving a dot off-center, or throwing something slightly off angle. It may add interest and add to the hand-crafted aspect.

I agree with ukit. And if you drop the size of the mark the weights will start to match those in the type and hopefully draw attention away from the nose. Overall, I absolutely love it. It's original and well thought out and executed.

- na, just similar. asymmetry in yours makes it more appealing.uan

the logo might be nice reversed out of a shape. might be less 'floaty' that way. I agree with the comment about the line weights. try applying it to a few things and see how it looks.

Quirky, needs tweeks but I like it

If this were for the American market, I'd suggest possibly trying to merge the CS cow form into a brand (as in *tssschht*).

tits and balls?

On the other hand, if it was a slaughterhouse AND a stripclub, this would truly be a work of genius

Can see where you're headed with it, and I like the idea, but it's not quite there yet... the nostrils/ boobs are drawing too much attention.

- I do like it though...the simplicity and the "drawn" quality...seems almost Paul Rand-likeukit

i like the gotham, but the mark isn't sophisticated enough...and does it have to use C & S in it! We already know its campbell and sons
- sorry forgot to mention, they want to use the logo without the name on quite alot of stuff... like a stamp.indian_pole

somehow I read cowbell&sons (cause of the abstract cow)

the circle parts of the S are not smoothly connected.
oh and what neue said.
