I think maybe you're trying too hard with the content. But otherwise, it's shot beautifully.
- yeah - spent 20 bucks @ goodwill for the teddy, silkshirts and suspenders - but maybe diversify the content a bit ?39steps

The video looks sweet and the model is hot!
Clearly I need to enroll in fashion school because working with mega hot girls...for creative learning purposes, of course...is pure genius! hahaha

there is some pretty nice photography on your site! and, thank you for sharing your first video with us (: i hope to follow in your footsteps some day...
at this point you have more video experience than i do, so keep that in mind when reading the following critiques:
1. parts of the video seem too dark, and parts seem too bright - intentional?
2. when shooting into the lampposts, the reflections in the camera lens are distracting. are you using an uncoated filter? if so, taking it off or replacing it with a multicoated uv filter would lessen the reflections.
3. the shakey motion in your tracking shots is a bit distracting - you might be able to ghetto-rig a steadicam to help you with that, like this one:

4. the street scene where she's walking down the road - the road might have been chosen better, as the parked cars on the left are distracting and make me glance at them, rather than concentrating on the model. in general maybe set up scenes that force attention to your subject more? with lighting and careful shot management?- overall though, very nice, esp. if it's your first video o_Obigtrickagain
- :) yeah - just turned on the video mode when I was shooting. the shoot was just for her and I to work on model photographer relationship really.39steps

Content - you have to give the girl something to do not just walk around.
Proper exposure - most images are underexposed.
White balance - pick what looks best, but somehow i have hard time believing that that burning orange was the best white balance for that lighting situation.
Lens- keeping the UV filter on the lens sometimes works but here on that wide shots with reflecting lights a bit bothers me.

for sure! all good points. I hated the cars on the left. unless they were like old school james bond 50's cars...i like the lamp reflection...and the shaky bits for sure could use some help.
Thanks so much!
