if you limit your mind then its horseshit, but if you let your imagination explode, then its very possible as everything else is..
you seem to be a very close minded person. i hope you aren't a designer, because a designer is a problem solver and someone who can see this happening, and makes this happen.

it is already possible to create a recyclable current all of it is inexpensive. Like our electric bills now are cheap? Come on! Wake up! it has always been the issue of corporations and governments keeping the technology secret and sold to us. its not hard to harness electricity when there are enough atoms on a pin head to blow up almost the entire planet. Wear you slippers and rub them on the rug and touch a piece of metal. Get it? We also need to start using magnets more.
Listen to Frank he knows what he is talking about.

I am a designer and I believe it works but can it be done cheaply and without interference from major corps that will try to eliminate the technology. Utility companies have a lot to lose if I can install this in my house for $3000. Do you think they will allow it to happen. Think of all the jobs that will be lost if all the utility companies become unnecessary. Sure they can buy a large unit to power a community but that defeats the purpose of this technology.
Also I simply posed the question because things like this are always what they seem. This isn't a question of closed mindedness.

If energy costs plummet with the introduction of a highly efficient and portable energy powerplant such as this, what does it mean for the greater capitalist economy that is dependent upon upward growth to survive?
Our need for physical products decrease with the increase in technological advancements -- our lives move toward the virtual realm rather than the physical. More people telecommute reducing the need for cars, more people do online banking reducing the need for bank employees, more people have virtual stores rather than actual storefronts.
It seems that all this can be an explanation for our current economic depresssion. Or is the the start of a downward trend where all our lives become less dependent on the physical things that brought us to where we are today?
If energy is cheap morality, humanity and technology will likely grow by leaps and bounds, but what about the greater economy that is dependent on people to work hard to afford the energy that makes the world go round?
Anyone else wonder about this?
