  Mephedrone is NOT Khat.

  It's only been recently banned here in Blighty. My old company looked into selling it years ago - spent a lot of money researchng into it and preparing marketing. Decided at last minute not to, out of safety concerns.

  It works, if that's what you're asking.

  It's just not the sort of thing you want to do a lot of - abuse causes severe circulation problems acting upon extremities (I'm not clear on exact details - I kind of zone out when people talk about pharma chems these days). I vaguely recall being told that the deaths from it popularised by the media here in Blighty were false positive reports, in that Mephedrone wasn't the root cause of death.

  I'd try it, if I were still that way inclined - but I'd not do a lot of it and I'd stick to old, somewhat trusted favourites.

  Well, it was legal - that's it.

  Same for the weed-alternatives out there - sure, they 'work', but they're pale alternatives to the real thing.. but they're legal and somewhat easily available.

  You're also a lot less likely to fail a drugs test on them.
