It was what I expected it to be. It was good for me but then again I love all things Disney so....
Only thing I thought was unnecessary was the dancing part at the end which was just awkward.

vsplus you do realise who Tim Burtons target audience is right?

Wow seriously !!!??? Avril Lavigne during the closing credits ??? That was really really lame.

I thought it was really peculiar, the silly dance at the end did leave a bad taste in my mouth and the white queen was pretty poor, but I still enjoyed Burton's revisiting of a story I loved as a child, it brought back lots of nice memories.

The entire time, I was waiting for some really gay electric guitar-laden musical segment to break out, but it never happened. Then Johnny Depp did that stupid dance segment, and I realized, "Tim Burton is done for."
- Also, the 3D was pretty lackluster, as many have said. 3D for the sake of 3D.dMullins

yeah, saw it, it was great.

I knew the whole story going in, so there weren't any surprises. Kind of blew it for me. They should have changed the whole thing around, and added a few sex scenes to update that 19th century shit. I think it would have been great to see that big-headed Red Queen and her voracious sexual appetite making quick work of her entire court!

I thought it was about what I expected. Nothing superb, but the visuals were pretty impressive.
I'd give it a B or B- overall. I had hoped there would be that extra 'wow', but it just kinda kept a steady pace and never went up or down.
Avatar, on the other hand, which I just saw the night before last, I thought was pretty amazing. I dismissed it long ago, so I guess my expectations were low, but the 3D and animation/green screen was simply amazing!!
GF loved both movies.

saw it last night and think it's ok. what do you expect? the biggest thing since sliced bread? ffs

I thought it was decent, not the end all, but it wasn't shit. The GF didn't think much of it. I wouldn't not recommend seeing it.

Our whole office, about 200 people, went to see AIW. out of those, only one said he would recommend it to a friend. I walked out at the beginning so I don't have a strong opinion but it has to suck
