  saw alice in wonderland on midnight thurs.... was excited about seeing this movie...

  of course, we smoked a lot before arriving....

  I was VERY disappointed with the movie. It seemed like the whole story was happening so fast.... the story was kinda off.... the 3-d sucked also (compared to avatar)

  and well... it sucked.

  anyone else see it?

  yeah 3D was added after the movie was shot, this kind of bullshit is going to confuse people, Tron on the other hand is being done like Avatar

  I'd still go to see Alice...

  i heard... but the story was so f'n fast.... its like they edit out too much to cut down on the time.... which ruins the whole thing....

  I absolutely loved it, but I didn't like the 3D.

  I don't think the 3D added anything at all to the film, and one of the things I've loved about the trailers and promo shots was the vibrant colours. The 3D glasses instantly dulled everything. It almost made me feel like I was watching it from a VHS or something, not glorious new HD quality.

  I absolutely loved the film, but wish I could have seen it in 2D glory and not had to pay some stupid amount of money for the 3D version.

  Yea you should see avatar - it's amazingly creative. IMO you're missing out on the experience

  The Alice trailers looked lame to me and I don't plan on seeing it but thanks anyway.

  @e-pill you should go and see Avatar in 3D in a theater before they stop running it, I hated the script and some parts made me cringe. But it still deserves to be watched for the technical aspect.

  It made me remember when I saw Captain EO @ Epcot Center in 1990

  don't go see avatar! Just forget about the movie all along, on several posts you mentioned you haven't seen it and if you should go, everyone tells you to go see it, so your expectations are going to be so high, you will be disappointed, you my friend have placed that movie on a pedestal, that's so high it will never be reachable.

  Your best bet is go see that movie with kevin costner, I hear is JUST like it, but without the 3d or the

  My friend saw Alice today, and was unimpressed. He said it jumped around a lot, didn't flow well. But it's possible he was stoned, too!
