I haven't tried it myself yet, but "Ever Space", a rougelike space shoorter looks really nice. Everytime you die you start again as a new clone of yourself, perhaps with a slightly better ship than last.
Its out on Xbox One, PC, Mac and supports VR.
http://store.steampowered.com/ap…- Curious about this. I'm trying to get into Elite, on my Xbox One, but it's such a time-sink when I have other things I should complete.face_melter
- It also reminds me of Colony Wars, the space shooter on the PSone from many years ago.face_melter
- Stick with Elite, it's worth a thousand No Mans Skys. Colony wars was so good!MrT
- I've heard this compared a bit to FTP, you jump to a sector, have some shootouts, pick up some equipment/fuel and jump to the next sectorNutter
- Elite is a different animal compared to NMS, I still play it, it's a more rounded game since they added base building and vehicles.face_melter
- Colony Wars was so damn good....ArmandoEstrada
- Elite you don't get to loot things you kill anymore.cannonball1978
- Yeah I'm referring more to original Elite which sunk more of my time than these others. Some more Psygnosis love... what about a G-Police reboot?MrT

new Bioware game, proper reveal today @ xbox e3 event
- it's Destiny-like gameernexbcn
- The EA presentation was an absolute fuck-up. Hilariously bad at points. They spent 30 minutes talking about Madden. 30 fucking minutes.face_melter
- And most of that was Chad and Brad dudebro shit. Nauseating. NFS is basically The Fast and The Burnout now, which is good. Burnout was always the superior game.face_melter
- I enjoy the campaign based NFS, cheesy as fuck but entertainingernexbcn

Bioware really needs to get on with what the people actually want, KOTOR3. That game would sell so incredibly well, but they refuse to make it.
KOTOR is one of the best RPGs of all time, and with so much Star Wars going on right now, it makes so much sense to do it.

Best thing from the MS conference:
The new Xbox costs 499 dollars btw lol
- the player voice scripting is cringecannonball1978
- yeah that was supposedly a group of friends playing the thing online, always cringyernexbcn

I feel something's lacking compared to GT Sport, I think it's the lightning
- Forza games are always hyper-real, with tweaked contrast, makes them look more plasticky. Polyphony have the better camera/angles.face_melter

- pc version for me! unless it comes to ps4 in the futurecruddlebub
- and i do love the LORN, all new music just for the game too...cruddlebub
- Oh my, somewhere between Monkey Island and the Diamond Age.. and Lorn's bestest tune. *keeps eye on*detritus
- So reminds me of Flashback, looks bloomin beautiful.robthelad
- ^ yeah, the animation is like Flashback's rotoscoping. Another game that was absolutely mint. The PSone sequel had its moments too.face_melter
- Another World? That was out before the PS1 :)detritus
- Nah, Another World was first, then Flashback, then Fade To Black - a sequel/not sequel to Flashback.face_melter
- Oh Christ, so you're right!

More Bethesda:
I routinely enjoy the absolute fuck out of the last two (New Order / Old Blood mini campaign). They have become my most-played games of recent years. Great voice acting and writing coupled with glorious ultra-violence.
- looking good this oneernexbcn
- *looks* nice. but ehcannonball1978

'"Half-Life 3" release gloomier with exit of fourth Valve writer Jay Pinkerton'
- At this stage we have to assume they're not bothering, right? Any longer and the original target demographic will all be dead.detritus
- Valve stopped bothering years ago -
they're are distribution company now. Why fuck with games when you can make guaranteed millions selling DotA hats?face_melter - Last official word from them is that they are working on 4 VR games
but we know they have been working on left for dead 3 since ages agoernexbcn - the joke around is "valve can't count to 3"ernexbcn
- they also recently hired most of the original team that created Kerbal Space Programernexbcn
- ..aye, and KSP itself was bought out by Take Two, so interesting times ahead for the Kerbals?detritus

God damn this The Last Night game for the X1 looks fucking incredible. I know its a remake of some Flash game that was made in 6 days, but has anyone here played that? What the hell is this game?
Oh, and cannot WAIT for this.
- The Last Night is PC/MAC/XBOX and more than likely PS4 after some timeernexbcn
- Not what I asked.CygnusZero4
- It's informative for the people that might be interested on iternexbcn

Ubisoft took the naval stuff from AC:Black Flag and created this open world competitive pirate game, looks great
- cool. open world meaning open ocean in this case I guess.Beeswax
- So basically instead of giving everyone the Black Flag the sequel they wanted they just take one aspect of BF and turn it into a multiplayer game. No thanksSteveJobs
- YouTube comment:
"Downgrade coming soon!"
hahahaSteveJobs - ^ every Ubi announcement :''-)mekk
- Dunno. I liked black flag, but didnt like the ship combat.CygnusZero4
