Site's quite dry, but it does a good job of displaying your work. As it's quite dull, having 'Say Hello' instead of the email address is a bit incongruous.
Not much else to say.
You could try putting a little more love into it, somehow.

whats the point of building in flash? there is no deeplinking to projects. I would make the same thing with car go, save some time.

it's functional, just not enjoyable. Don't know what you were going for, though.

it's pretty bland, wouldn't you say? i don't mind that approach, just doesn't seem to have much personality or thought behind it.
a few suggestions to consider... perhaps beef up "ken vella + design". your name pretty much gets lost on the page. also, maybe put a line break between your name and "selected projects, print work"
i think you should also add a highlighted state for the current project being viewed (and disable the button as well). lastly, i think "say hello" could stand out more. in my opinion that's the second most important thing on the page after your name.

nothing wrong with minimal, but it doesn't have to be completely devoid of personality.
and yeah, flash ads nothing in this case, if you're going to use flash, you should use it.

dude you have a lot to be proud of. A lot designers
never make it to that level of work. Though these guys
are being kinda harsh, keep in mind this crowd is far more
"artsier" than most.

Its simple so keep it simple. For what you are trying to achieve, it can be done in HTML.
Also, dont tilt your work. lay them out as you would on any grid.
