Definitely a copy, rip, inspiration, batesole whateva they want to call it.
Should have hired Ross and avoided this.

lame.

it's clearly a direct rip. but so what. it's still a really good shot.
just because someone else did it first does that make it off limits?

Whatever, I don't think the fact that it's an 'ad' gives it a free pass.
Would this warrant praise if it were a photo series? it's quite clear the 'concept' is some trite BS to justify the imagery.

Asian advertising agencies have a big problem with ripoff work and scam ads. It's a plague over there.

Asia seems to rip everyone off, it is part of their culture.

Hey what? Wait... an ad agency stealing an idea? Never...
- version30
he poured and photoed.
this is like illustrating moving liquid in a nonexistent glass, it's been done and will be done again.
ever seen a bunch of colorful shit photographed on a woman's lips?
not just one photographer is doing that and it sure as shit ain't new to our time.
give the man his prize.

agreed - it's not the most original idea.
but in this case, it really does look like the exact same photo shoot, just different colour paint...I actually don't care. procrastinating. BACK TO WORK!

Mark Farrow and Vincent Peters should take the Leo Burnett stuff and put it in their portfolios as their own.

this guy has the same concept almost to the 'T'... not sure if it was lifted or inspired or what... but in this case it's in a series, he's expanded on the idea and used it as one of the many studies. I think that's perfectly acceptable... but the ad just tastes wrong.

weird.
Check out the votes. Half of says. All ideas have been used, nothing is original anymore, its just repeating history but on the other side, the concept is the same.
What do you guys think?

there is absolutely no trademark on the non sensory of pouring shit on women and photographing it. i don't care how close two photos look like one another if the work is done to produce each image who the fuck cares?
none of you, and i mean all you lurkers out here reading this too, can ever profit from selling a photograph of nature in stark b&w contrast. in fact no b&w nature at all, in fact no b&w pictures that involve a tree on any level be it a seed, leaf or piece of bark.
you numbnuts sound like the riaa of visual design
- ya know... cause of ansel adams and all, quite notorious that guyversion3
