You get one pair of eyes, anything goes wrong in the op you're f**ked, that's why they wait a long time between each eye. To take that risk for vanity (you can always wear specs so that's what it is) is insane.

Would love to do it, but I also like how glasses look as an accessory.
First-world problems.
My eyes are pretty horrible though and it would make life easier to just do the surgery. Among other reasons:
- my eyes won't get as tired or dry quickly
- I will be able to see in the shower
- I can see the time when I wake upWhen the surgeon flips or removes the outer layer of the cornea, you can see the other side of the room (parts you shouldn't be able to see) for a split second before you can't see anything and your eyes are in the hands of the doctor. Good times.

I've had it. It's a bit in your face as it's happening to your eyes. Very watery submarine feeling during. Strange lights. Barely any pain that I can remember. My vision now is incredible compared to what it was and it's been a lasting change. I mostly forget I ever wore contacts or glasses. Go for it.

I got it done in early sept. My only regret is that i couldn't afford it earlier. Go with the all laser wavefront guided lasik. PRK is only a good option if you have too thin of a cornea to get lasik, and the all laser part gives a better correction. I too get blurry vision if my eyes dry out, but that was only a problem for the first month.
Also, presbyopia (needing reading glasses) hits everyone as they get to about 50, and lasik can't correct for that.
